Killua's POV
This time, I was by myself while waiting for y/n to get out of school. Alluka was at Kleo's house with her big sister. Deep down, I felt a little impatient, because I wanted to see how they were doing as quick as possible.
And the worst part was, Loretta was back. With some friends.
They were about three yards from me, but I could hear every word that came out of their mouths. Sometimes girls aren't good at whispering as my y/n. She's literally the only person who I can't hear mumbling under her breath.
"Go one, Loretta, he's so hot!"
"One look, and he'll be yours!"
Loretta protested, "But, the last time-"
They retorted, "You have to take the dive!"
"Y'know, hot boys are attracted to hot girls."
"Just be glad he doesn't have a girlfriend already."
Oh, it's gonna be a party when y/n shows up.
Just then, extra weight was added onto the bench I was sitting on. "Umm... Hello..." It was Loretta again.
My patience was wearing thin at this point. First of all, how do you go to the same school as y/n and not know that I'm her boyfriend? Second of all, I wanted nothing to do with you the first time you spoke to me, and I still want nothing to do with you.
But I had manners, no matter how much of a bastard I might seem. "Hi there." I greeted without looking at her.
Dammit, y/n, get over here...!
"Umm... Sorry about before... I shouldn't have said that..." She mumbled.
Wow, she sure is modest when she's not kicking people's asses!
"It didn't bother me." I replied monotonously.
"I, uh... L-like you a lot..."
That's not how you confess!
"Really now?" I pretended to be mildly surprised.
"... Y-yeah... Umm..."
At tap hat moment, a bus pulled up, causing Loretta to get up from the bench. "B-bye..."
"Bye."
She scrambled off the bench and to the bus stop, never looking back. Once the vehicle sped off, I sighed in relief, pity and annoyance. It appeared that she didn't know how to confess.
If Alluka was here, she'd say, "Good riddance." Sadly, I agree.
Just then, arms wrapped around my neck. "I see now... Loretta has a crush on you..." Anger was evident in that voice.
I didn't need to look behind me. I already knew who it was. "Y/n, don't kill her. I'm not even interested in her."
"I know... But I feel like throwing a knife at the back of her neck." Bloodlust was oozing from her. Damn, I love jealous y/n!
"No. I forbid it."
"I thought you said that I was the kitty's master!" Y/n whined.
"You are." I stood up as she unwrapped her arms from my neck. I turned my head to look at her pouting adorably. I was glad we weren't at home, because if we were, well... I'll save the explanation for later.
"But sometimes, the kitty knows best." I pointed at myself with my thumb.
Y/n smiled and shook her head. "I guess you're right. I won't kill her. Yet."
I sighed and scratched my head. "I don't know what I'm going to do with you..."
"Good, cause that's what I say to myself everyday with you." Y/n smirked.

Reader's POV
(Play music)The afternoon went by pretty smoothly. Alluka was home and I was sitting on the couch with Killua while she took a nap upstairs. Alluka said that her sugar rush had burnt out.
Hey, do you ever get that feeling when everyone else is asleep and you're all types of bored? That was me. Killua was napping with his head on my lap.
I was reading a book, as always. But books weren't very interesting when Killua wasn't awake. So I sighed.
"Hey, y/n, look at this." Killua suddenly spoke.
"Gyah!" I gasped, surprised by his sudden comment. "Aren't you asleep?!"
"Nah, I was too busy looking at your beautiful face." He smirked and raised his hand to poke my nose with one finger.
I smiled sweetly at him. I'm done denying his love. "You have a beautiful face, too, y'know."
Killua's smile got bigger. "Put the book down, y/n. I want to give you something." He lifted his head from my lap and stood up from the couch. "Just wait here, okay?"
I swore I saw a blush on his face.
Killua walked upstairs, leaving me confused and curious to what he could be giving me.
Then, two minutes later, I heard Alluka scream, "YES!!!! MY SECOND GOAL IN LIFE HAS BEEN HALF-ACCOMPLISHED!!!!"
Back then, I thought she was just squealing about a game she had finally finished after like three months. So I didn't worry too much.
Just then, Killua came back downstairs, this time holding something in his hand. "What was Alluka yelling about?"
A small blush appeared on his cheeks. "Uh... N-nothing..."
He walked to the front of the couch in front of me, still holding that object now with two hands. I put down my book.
"Y-y/n... Could you..." He stuttered, looking down so that I couldn't see his blush. Then, he held out a small black box towards me.
I widened my eyes when I found out what it was.
(Small A/n. Remember in my last story I said that you're allowed to get married at the age of fourteen in this story? Well, now you're about to find out.)
(Play music)
"Y/n... I want you to put on this ring..." Killua mumbled. I figured it was a promise ring, since Alluka gave it away while I woke up once from a nap in our room.
But I didn't expect it to be this early...!
"P-put it on any finger you want... G-give me your answer later..." I took the box from his hands, and opened it slowly. Inside, there was a golden ring with a diamond in the center. On the other side of the box, it read, 16k. Damn, Killua!
"Y/n... I fell in love with you from the moment I saw you kick that guy's ass in the park... And the next day, I didn't want that to be my confession to you. I guess it was in the heat of the moment... You don't know how happy I was when you told me that you loved me as well... It's a miracle that I met you. All those times when I tell you how much I love you, when I told you that you're my everything, I wasn't lying. I meant everything I said. So, until I propose to you... Until we get married, I want you to wear this... In honor of our promise..." Killua's blush became redder and redder.
I picked up the ring and slipped it on my ring finger. Killua saw this and gasped slightly. I held up my hand, showing the ring with a blush on my face as well. "Of course I'll wear it... Because I wanna keep that promise too."
"Y/n..."
"I love you too, Killua." I stood up and wrapped my arms around him. Killua's body was hot and his heart was beating fast.
"Y/n..." He slowly wrapped his arms around my form. Then he tightened his grip as if I was going to disappear into mist.
After a while of hugging each other, it was interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream from outside.
And I knew who it came from. It was Alicia's scream.
