Reader's POV (play music)

It was time. It was finally time. My leg had finally recovered. I had felt it's full recovery right when I woke up. With my eyes still closed, I smiled to myself silently. I sat up and patted down my h/c hair softly. Then, I shifted towards the edge of the bed and glanced at my leg.

"Alright. Time to put it to an end." I muttered to myself and slowly took off the case that had held me back for so long. My smile grew bigger when I laid eyes on my exposed leg. I wiggled my toes just to make sure. Yup, all better.

Slowly, I stood up and stretched, feeling every one of my bones crack. Wow. Is that how long I've been in bed? My entire body ached at the strain. I ignored it and performed an armada com martelo for good measure.

I laughed in ecstasy at being able to stand again. Oh, how wonderful... How joyful! I can kick ass like the pro I am again. How refreshing...

I thought about running outside and telling Killua and the others that I'm standing, but they're probably sleeping by now. Which kinda sucks; this is so exciting. But then the thought crossed my mind.

I could settle the score with a certain family member.

Putting on a poker face but still feeling delighted, I whipped around and faced the duffle bag Alluka had brought that contains my clothes. I bent down, feeling my bones ache and unzipped it, checking the contents.

Perfect for meeting a family member in his very own hospital room.

I looked down at my attire and chuckled, knowing how Alluka must've felt when she picked this out. "Something that'll make Brother have a nosebleed!" I was wearing a white skirt that reached my mid-thighs with a brown leather belt that sagged on one side, an aquamarine t-shirt that read in caps, "SORRY BRO, I'M TAKEN." and brown boots to match the belt.

But, it was a little stylish. Nice to know that Alluka cares.

After I made the bed, left a wad of cash and faced the door, I took one last glance at the hospital room with a small smile. "Thanks." I said to no one. I was actually going to miss the place.

I opened the door as quietly as I could and slipped into the hallway. I looked left. There was no one there. I looked to my right, and was met with Killua's sapphire eyes staring straight at my e/c ones. His eyes were wide with surprise and I think I caught him blush a light pink. Alluka and Kleo were huddled together sleeping.

"Y/n!" Killua whispered, trying not to wake the two. "You're... Standing...!"

I placed my hand on my hip. "Yup. Very much, baby. Thank you for noticing." I smiled at him.

"Well, where are you going?" He asked, shrugging.

"To meet my old man." I replied, putting on a poker face. "It's time I stopped running."

Killua unexpectedly smiled and kissed my lips softly. "Well, good luck on that. Give it to him straight, y/n." I smiled at him, glad that he understood what I was going to say.

"Thanks..." I blushed. "Are you going to wake up the girls...?" I whispered, referring to Alluka and Kleo.

"When I see you come out." Killua replied, putting a hand on my shoulder and squeezing it a little. "Just do what you gotta do."

I nodded, and then without hesitation, hugged the silver haired ex assassin. "I love you..."

"I love you more. Now go sucker punch your dad before I do." He murmured, returning the hug.

We pulled away and then I walked past my lover and to my father's hospital room. With every step, I felt a little bit of doubt, but I remember Killua's words and walked faster.
