Reader's POV (longest chapter of my life!)
"Do you really have to go, Y/n?" Killua asked with a forlorn look on his face. I nodded without looking at him, hiding my scissors beneath my long skirt. My heart was twisted with sadness. If I lose against f/n, I'll be killed. I was much, much weaker than my dad, so it would probably end with my death. But if I won, I'd have to kill my father.
I honestly didn't want that.
Alluka was on the verge of tears, wiping her eyes with a tissue. She was so happy yesterday... I almost felt guilty for giving her this grief.
Kleo was also present in the living room. She was the only one who wore a calm expression. She sat next to Alluka, rubbing her back and handing her tissues.
"Can..." Killua started, his silver bangs covering his eyes. "I walk you there, at least?"
I froze completely when I heard the words, 'walk you'. The first thing in my mind was 'No', but part of me wanted him to walk me there. Just like when he walked me home from school. Holding hands, occasional kisses...
I stood up and faced the trio sitting on the couch. Kleo suggested, "I could take Alluka to my house so we could be under my sister's supervision..."
Killua slowly nodded, keeping his gaze fixed on me. I hadn't accepted his proposal yet. After a while, I nodded and he stood up. Then Kleo and Alluka stood up as well and we all walked to the door. I turned the knob and opened the door slowly.
In the front yard, suddenly Alluka latched her arms around my waist. "I love you, nee-san..." She sobbed. I smiled and hugged her back. Killua and Kleo looked on in silence.
"I love you too, Alluka." I whispered back.
After a little bit, Alluka pulled away, and began to walk down the street with Kleo. Then I turned to Killua and held my hand out with a smile. He smiled back and took the hand in his. "Let's go." He said softly.
Hand in hand, we both walked to the destination. To where my old man was. After about three blocks, I told him, "You're not going to try to dissuade me by walking with me are you?"
Killua eyed me in confusion. "No, baby! I just want to walk with you... Even if it's for the last time..." He muttered the last part sadly.
"That sounds like a guilt trip..."
At that moment, Killua halted and ripped his hand free of my grasp. "Well, what the hell am I supposed to do, y/n?! You want me to tell you that I'm glad you're heading straight to your probable death?! Do want me to say goodbye without getting a smile, without getting a kiss from you?! Is that what you want?!"
I halted as well and shook my head. "N-no, Killua, no... That's not what I want at all..."
"Then what the hell do you want, y/n?!" He demanded.
The tears that had done their best to stay inside pooled in my eyes. "I-I want..." I mumbled.
"Huh?!" Killua leaned closer to my face.
One tear spilled over and slid down my cheek. "I want... I want to settle this without you getting hurt..." I said a little louder.
Killua's eyes flashed with even more anger, which is the opposite of what I expected. "So you're content with yourself drying hurt?!" He grabbed my shoulders. "Y/n, I'd rather be stabbed in the heart and have the weapon twisted in my organs than have you die!"
I blinked, speechless, but unconsciously clenched my fists... After a little bit, I found my voice and replied firmly. "Killua, my father could be an international terror, and once he starts killing... He won't stop until he's bored. And if I don't stop him, he'll kill so many innocent people. He'll kill Alluka if he wishes."
