Killua's POV

I sighed in relief as y/n finally succumbed to deep slumber. "G'night, baby." I whispered and kissed her cheek lightly. Then I stood up from her hospital bed and walked over to Loretta, who had gained consciousness and was still on the floor. She looked up at me and immediately blushed.

"Ah...! K-Killua... It's... You!" She exclaimed. I extended my arm and flicked my hand to close the door. "What do you need?! I could do anything for you! Tell me what you need!" Loretta sat up like a dog kissing up to its master.

"You're pathetic." I said coldly. She wasn't fazed at all. Even more sick!

"Do you need me to be pathetic? What do you need, Killua?" She asked.

Quick as a flash, I slapped her cheek forcefully, leaving a large red mark on her cheek. "I need you to shut the hell up and listen."

Loretta snapped her mouth shut and stared at me. "First off..." I started quietly. Then I snapped. "What the hell is your problem?!?! You have the nerve to flirt with me right in front of my girlfriend, then kill her best friend, and then try to stab her in the middle of the night, and you almost stab my sister!" I clenched my fist, feeling the tingling sensation of blue electricity. "You honestly think I'll let you get away with that...?!"

Loretta's eyes were filled with fear. I felt a little bit of satisfaction. A LITTLE. It wasn't even close to the satisfaction I needed. I needed something that would cause her pain, extraordinary pain.

"But... It was so we could be together..." She only added oil to my flames of rage.

"I have a fiancé, you stupid broad!!!" I shouted.

Then I grabbed Loretta by her neck, lifted her entire body, and walked over to the window. I opened the window with a free hand and heard her scream, "Wait, Killua! I won't do it again! Just let me go! I want to live!"

"Ya damn right you won't do it again." I responded coldly. Then , without any hesitation, I threw the bitch out of the window and she plummeted towards the unforgiving concrete. This was the fifth floor, too. Loretta let out terrible death throes for a little bit until there was a startling splat sound.

But it wasn't startling for me. In fact, I was a little bit happy. I smiled unconsciously. "You got what you deserved..." I murmured. "Nobody messes with my family."

Reader's POV

"-throw her out a window?!" That was the first sentence I heard when I woke up... I slowly opened my eyes and looked around for the user of the voice.

"I'm sorry, but I had to. Also, I wasn't thinking straight." I think it was Killua who responded. Yup, definitely Killua.

"But... You threw her out a freakin window!!!" That was Kleo.

"I was insane with rage." Killua responded.

"Well... I woulda done the same thing, so I don't blame ya." Kleo sighed after a while of awkward silence.

"I'm sorry, you two..." Killua murmured. "I just don't know how y/n will react. She's one hell of a mystery."

"Well, that won't be a problem, because she's wide awake and listening." Kleo replied.

I held back a gasp. I hadn't moved on inch, hadn't made one sound. But, my eyes were open, so that gave a little bit away... I flinched when someone touched my shoulder suddenly. I twisted my neck over to look at the person. As expected, it was Killua, who had a tired expression.

"So you're awake." He sighed. "How long?"

"Just now." I yawned.

After a little bit of silence, Killua let go of my shoulder and turned to the two girls. "Here, Kleo. Buy yourselves some snacks."

"Yeah! Snacks!" Alluka exclaimed in delight. Killua dug into his pocket and put a dollar into her palm. Their anxiety forgotten, Kleo and Alluka bounced out of the room like toddlers.

Then I sat up and to face Killua's back. "Killua?" I quietly called.

"Loretta was being a bitch, so I threw her out the window." Killua suddenly confessed, not turning around to face me.

I widened my eyes in surprise, but didn't say anything. He continued, "I was so angry, I didn't feel like doing anything else. I could've done anything else, but I chose to throw her out a window... Heh..."

"Were you very angry?" I asked quietly.

"I was shouting. You didn't wake up, thank goodness."

I slowly smiled at his toned back. Then I patted on the wooden stool next to my hospital bed. "Here. Sit down."

Killua turned around finally and looked at me with mild surprise. Then he sauntered to the stool and sat down looking at me. "It's okay, Killua. It's just a phase. I went through it back when I murdered my classmates. You just feel confused and tired."

"Y/n, that's fatigue." Killua explained.

"And you feel it at least once in your life. Do you understand?"

He nodded, looking at the floor. "I hated her so much..."

"Hey, so did I. When she flirted with you, when she killed my best friend..." I trailed off, the memories flashing before my eyes.

Killua tucked my hair behind my ear and smiled. "Y'know, Y/n, you're like a pillar. You stand tall and proud and sturdy."

"But I get knocked down when something drastic happens. Yeah, I guess you could say that." I finished for him.

He chuckled in response. "I wasn't going to say that."

"Oh."

Killua let out a beautiful laugh, then after a while, I laughed as well. When the laughing died down, I placed both hands on his cheeks, leaned in close and kissed his lips softly. When I pulled away, I giggled lightly at the sight of him blushing.

"You're so cute~." I laughed.

He smirked. "Speak for yourself, y/n. You're the one with the beautiful body and face." He said huskily. I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked away, grinning.

"Killua..." I murmured. Suddenly I felt something hot and wet trailed up the side of my ear. I widened my eyes and exclaimed, "Did you just lick my ear?"

"Mmhmm..." He nodded.

"Why?"

"One, because I missed that reaction sooo much, and two, because you're my milk. Remember?" Killua purred.

I sighed in defeat. Killua placed a hand on my right cheek, the one that was farthest away and tilted my entire head to face him.

"I'm so in love with you right now, y/n." He confessed, pecking my lips.

"Me too." I replied, revealing that smile that I knew he adored.

Killua pressed his lips to mine and we both melted into the kiss. After like five seconds, Killua licked my lips, asking for entrance. I opened my mouth and he slid his tongue into it. After a little bit of tongue wrestling, I pulled away for air. "Can't breathe...!" I gasped.

"Sorry, baby." He apologized.

"It's fine." I shrugged.

"But... I'm still madly in love in with you, y/n." He took my hand, the one that wore the ring and intertwined our fingers together.

"Me too, Killua. Me too."
