Killua's POV (play music whenever)

I watched y/n with worry from the top of the stairs as she sharpened her butcher knife with unbelievable concentration. She had skipped breakfast and lunch just to prepare for her fight with her jackass dad. She hadn't exchanged a word with me and Alluka since this morning.

Maybe I should go talk to h-

"Maybe you should go talk to her, Brother." Suddenly, Alluka blurted out the words that I said in my mind. I nodded slightly, not looking at her. "One, it'll be great for my OTP, and two..." She trailed off and then muttered the last part. "I think she's gone nuts."

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Yeah, but she's like Gon. So damn stubborn."

After a little bit, Alluka asked. "Are you gonna get mad like when you died in Crossy Road?"

I furrowed my brow and twisted my neck to face her. "What?"

"Well, you got so angry, you blew up the bus we were on."

"Yes, but that has nothing to do with this situation."

"I'm only mentioning it because it was freaking hilarious!"

"In what way was that hilarious?"

"You blew up the bus because you died in Crossy Road."

"I almost beat your high score...!"

"And yet, you didn't. Queen of Games, bitch!"

"One day, I will beat your high score!"

"You can try."

"I'll use your favorite character!"

"I don't use the Celebrity anymore."

"Goddamn it!"

While we were having our famous sibling fights, a new voice interjected, "Both of you, quiet!!! I'm trying to focus!" It was y/n, which I could hardly believe, because her once beautiful voice was laced with anger and bitterness. It just... Wasn't my y/n!

Alluka whispered, "A-and back to our main topic. You should go talk to her..."

"Right. Alluka, go to our room." I ordered. Alluka nodded and scampered into our room and closed the door behind her. I stood up and walked down the stairs to my fiancé.

"Y/n-" I started, but she cut me off.

"Can't you see that I'm busy?!" She snapped, loading her revolver.

"Yes... I can see that..." I was a little disappointed to know that the first words she said to me since this morning were filled with annoyance. "But your fight with your father is tomorrow night. You have plenty of time tomorrow to prepare for it. I'll even help you. Hell, I'll come with you!"

Y/n took a long time to reply. She mostly spent that time slowly loading her revolver. I waited patiently for her to respond. Then, after about 30 seconds, she set down her gun, but didn't look at me. "I know my father, Killua. When he says tomorrow night, he'll probably mean tonight, so I can't trust anything he says."

I chuckled a but to get her to cheer up. "Y/n, I'm pretty sure I punched his leg hard enough for him to stay in bed for a few more days." My cheery tone didn't faze her at all, increasing my concern.

"I don't care. I'm still preparing for the worst."

Irritated, I snapped. "Still, not exchanging a word to me and Alluka all freaking day?! Isn't that a bit much?!"

She snapped as well. "Yes! Because you're the freaking king of distractions!!"

"Well then, I'd be very goddamn happy if I could distract you from this stress! Those mirrors are boxing you in again, I just know it! You're not letting me break them!"

"Well, maybe I like those mirrors! I mean they've been my only friends, so why should I lose them?!"

"There's a thing called human friends, y/n!"

"Some of us aren't so lucky as others!"

"So you don't consider Alluka as a friend? You don't consider Kleo a friend? You don't consider me as a friend?!" I challenged.

"You're not friends, you're family! The only family I've had since that accident!!"

"Well what about when we first met?! Did you consider me as a friend then?"

Y/n's eyes suddenly filled with sadness. "I didn't know what to think then. I didn't really trust you back then... I didn't trust Alluka... I was more surprised than anyone in the world. 'Y/n L/n... I think I love you.' I didn't know what to think..."

Dread gradually filled my body and I murmured the words that I would never ever want to hear from y/n's mouth. "Does that mean... You don't love me...?"

Y/n got up from her seat, walked up to me and without hesitation slapped me dead in my face. "Don't say retarded things, Killua!" She yelled. "I do love you. I love you more than anything. So never say that again!"

I blinked twice, regaining my composure. Then before I could do or say anything, y/n dropped her gaze to the floor, walked over to the couch and sat down. Almost instantly, I followed after her and sat down next to her. Silence took over the room after that.

The silence was broken when y/n asked, "Does your cheek hurt, Killua...?"

I widened my eyes a bit. "Hurt?! Oh hell no. But to other people, that slap would keep stinging for five minutes."

"Oh... Good..." Y/n sighed.

I slowly smiled and hugged her tightly. "Sorry, y/n. I just wanted to make things easier for you."

Y/n hugged me back and replied, "Don't worry. You did. There was a huge weight on my chest but now it's been lifted."

"Oh, y/n... There will always be a weight on your chest."

As expected, she was confused. "Killua, what do you mean by tha- You are such a pervert."

"Yup." I leaned to the right so we'd both fall onto the couch. Y/n was on the bottom while I was on the top. I kissed her lips softly.

"I love you, Killua. And don't ever forget it!"

I laughed at her child-like tone. "I love you too. I love you so, so much."

Suddenly, Alluka's head popped up from behind the couch and she started taking many pictures with her phone. "It's beautiful!! It's freaking beautiful!" Her eyes sparkled.

Irritated, y/n and I blushed and yelled, "Alluka!!!" I added, "You better not put that on Instagram!!!" Okay, I noticed her coming, but I didn't pay much attention to it!

Alluka laughed loudly and ran away with her phone yelling, "I MAKE NO PROMISES!!! Ahahahahahaha!!!"
