It's my duty

I hear phone chipping with notification, clock ticking on the wall, droplets of rain sliding off of the balcony door, Remi fucking some girl's brains out and a whole lot of other things for the past ten minutes. Creigh and Eli continue to watch each other, more like glare at each other as they have been doing ever since the former crashed into our room in the middle of our sexy time.

Damn it Cray. You could have waited for another ten minutes.

Absolutely. I mean the fine piece of man was going at the right pace and hitting the damn perfect spot.

Cray Cray, we hate you right now

I had to agree with the voices because he really could have let me have the best orgasm of my life. Eli is in competition with himself on giving me the best releases and I'm living for it. Putting my sexual life aside, I need to focus on the problem at hand. The younger King has barged into our room and demanded that his brother tell him the reason for imprisoning a green eyed man in their basement.

Eli had politely refused to tell him and ask him to mind his own business. Today is the day Creigh has decided to put his King traits to use in front of his big brother because he denied to see himself out until his brother gives him the information.

"It's getting late. You should sleep" Eli gives a stern glance to his brother

"I will once you tell me about him" Cray crosses his legs at ankles mimicking his elder brother.

"Aww baby bro, Are you losing your precious sleep for me? " Eli takes Creigh's chin between his fingers.

Creighton doesn't even acknowledge the question as he keeps glaring at Eli. Couple of minutes pass before he directs his gaze at me.

"Eyes on me, punk" Eli's voice thick with anger.

"Do you happen to know about the mystery guy in the basement?" he asks me ignoring Eli's glare.

This is the first time Creigh has addressed me since he came into the room. He had conversed with his brother like I didn't exist until now. I debate with myself whether or not to answer his question when I saw Eli shaking his head at me. I understand Eli wanting to protect his brother from any potential danger and it's really not his business to know anything about Ashton so I shake my head.

"I expected you to not lie, Ave" a wave of guilt hit me when I heard him use the nickname he gave me when we were five.

"I saw you and Eli dragging the guy out of the car before the guards took him down" he continues noticing my expression. I keep my gaze down not wanting to meet his eye.

"Can't meet the eye, Ave?" he tsks at me.

"Okay that's enough. You won't talk to her like that. Get out now" Eli drags his brother to the door.

"Hands off me. It's my duty to protect you and I will not stop until I get to the bottom of this" he pulls himself out of Eli's grip and gives me a look that says "you own me a lot of shit remember"?

With that the younger King was out of the room and the door shuts behind him. Eli presses his finger to his temple and falls on the couch. I take a seat beside himself and let my arms wrap around his shoulders.

"Don't worry. He will be fine" I say

"I need to keep him away from all these at any cost. I will finish Ashton before Creigh gets a wind of who he is" he says more to himself.

"Eli, you need to calm down and think rationally. Ashton is not our only goal, we need to know who is behind this and why"

"I know. I will handle it"
