"Weasley cannot save a thing, He cannot block a single ring, that's why Slytherins all sing: Weasley is our King." The spiteful words carried across the stadium, there was not a single person who did not hear her brother's cruel creativity as the cold wind blew, making Jane wish the game would end even sooner. She was livid, her blood boiled, she was surprised that she had not come down with a fever. She was mortified, knowing that these were Draco's lyrics, she knew he could be unkind and sometimes a little foul but this was pure vile, the kind of cruelty that she recognised in the majority of her family with the exception of her mother, to try and beat someone by using their flaws and insecurities against them and minimising your own work effort, it was so clever, so tortuously smart and cruel, her father would be so proud.

She remembered once when there was a spider in her room and she was terrified and Draco wouldn't even squish it with his foot, but he would pick it up slowly and carefully because he said that "It wasn't nice to harm things for no reason." How funny things change. She was scared, terrified that Draco was becoming them, his obsession with beating Gryffindor worried her, it was only a quidditch a game after all, so why go to these lengths of public humiliation, it scared her to her core thinking about what he could be capable of doing in more serious circumstances. "Weasley was born in a bin, He always lets the Quaffle in, Weasley will make sure we win, Weasley is our King." While she was full of angry fire inside, she was becoming frost on the outside and so Cormac had pulled her into his own cloak and wrapped it around her along with his large arms and kissed her head sweetly as she leaned on his chest. "Oh for Merlin's sake pass the bloody thing." Cormac shouted out above her, he was equally angry although only for as what he called it "Bloody awful playing, if I was on that team-" she turned on him and said angrily "if you were on that team what? They would be making cruel songs up about you!"

He laughed at her and said "it's not exactly cruel Jane, you're too kind to people sometimes." he kissed her cheek and pulled her back to him, she huffed but didn't say anything else. Jane's eyes surveyed the pitch, she saw the two apes that hung around her brother and laughed, Jamie turned around to her "What's so funny little Miss Malfoy, its twenty-nil?"

"Now I know why they needed to make that stupid song."

"Why?" he inquired and then she pointed to Crabbe and Goyle "Biggest idiots I've ever met in my life." Jamie looked at them and made a worried face "I still wouldn't want to meet them down a dark alleyway though, they'd bloody butcher me." Jane and Cormac laughed, Jamie was barley taller than Jane and while he had some arm muscle definition he was slim while Cormac towered over the pair of them and his arm muscles were comparable to the size of Jane's head. "I don't think they even need the song, Weasley's pathetic, I mean has he ever even been on a broom, I know he's your mate and everything baby but seriously even you know that he's abysmal."

"It's just his confidence, how would you like it with everyone chanting your name?"

"I'd love it." he said with a smirk, Jane sighed and said under her breath "Of course you would."

"Are you sure you're just not bitter Cormac?" Jamie joked. Cormac's eyes narrowed and he said cockily, "The only reason that Weasel got onto the team was because his mate is on the team, he has no actual talent, and your brother's genius lyrics only go to prove it. You know darling, you really should introduce me to your brother, I really do feel we'd get on well." Jane snapped away from his hold, her eyes blazing and a scowl growing on her delicate face. "Babe what's wrong?" Cormac laughed while stroking Jane's face, she viciously batted his hand away and replied "You're exactly like him." Before striding off to sit a few rows down with Hermione.
