"Here you are commander." One of the clone medics, named Endo, handed her a tray of food. "Straight from the mess hall."

"Thanks Endo." Valerie smiled, happily taking the tray. She set it down on the table next to Master Amon's bed. Master Amon still laid there sleeping. It's only been two days but, the clones told her that Grievous droids used some sort of sedative on him which is why he still remained unconscious.

"Hey, what are you still doing here commander?" The other clone medic Broncho walked by, patting her on the shoulders. "It's late and you should be sleeping. We can watch General Amon from here."

"I'm not tired yet." Valerie laughed, taking a bite from her sandwich.

"You say that now." Broncho laughed. "What about your friends Commander Tano and Commander Offee? You should be studying with them then."

Valerie looked at her books and data pads that lay scattered around her on the floor. Most of the books have been marked up by her with important key notes that she likes to refer back to. "They're off on assignments with their masters. I'm still stuck on temple arrest."

"You make that sound like it's a bad thing." Endo scoffed. "Being here is a good time for a little R&R for you."

"I suppose you're right." Valerie finished eating her meal. "I just don't want the war to be won without my master and I. He would be pretty upset if he found out he slept through the remainder of it."

"That he would." Broncho agreed.

The doors to the infirmary opened and Valerie turned her attention to the Jedi Master walking in. She smiled upon seeing it was Master Billaba. "Master Billaba! Back again to visit Master Amon?"

"Of course, my dear. I wanted to visit him before I'm off on the next mission." She stopped at the edge of the bed. "Is this pile of lazy bones still asleep?"

"He is." Valerie nodded. "But he's shifting more in his sleep. Endo and Broncho predict he could wake up soon."

"That's good." Master Billaba pulled out what looked like a dusty old book. "I figured you want some more reading while you are still at the temple."

Valerie took the book and read the title. "The Art of Learning Your Inner Calm?" She looked at Master Billaba.

"It was your master's book. His master, Master Shaak-Ti, gave it to him when he first became her padawan." Master Billaba said. "I see you have some of his traits when it comes to marking up your books and I figured you would like to see what he wrote in his."

"Thank you." Valerie smiled.

"He'll be alright, Valerie. He's too stubborn to die from some battle droids." Master Billaba bowed before leaving the infirmary. Valerie placed the book on the bed next to Master Amon.

"You hear that master?" Valerie questioned. "Master Billaba gave me a piece of your property. You better wake up and stop me before I go snoopinggggg."

Still he remained peacefully sleeping.

"Figures." Valerie smirked before leaning back in her seat and started daydreaming.

More time had passed and Valerie was starting to feel bored. Glancing behind her she saw that Endo and Broncho have dozed off at their station. She looked back at her master and his book that was resting next to him. Carefully, she picked up the book and brushed off the dust from the cover. Her head shot backwards.

Instead of being in the infirmary, Valerie found herself standing in the middle of the temple halls. "What the-" She spun in a circle. She could see some of the masters walking around. Master Windu and Master Shaak-Ti were standing off to the side, idly chatting. "How did I get here?"
