Glacies could feel the wound welling with blood, he felt slightly dizzy, and tired, but he couldn't stop, he needed to get back to the others. He could feel Viburnum's steely gaze on him, he could tell that Viburnum was waiting for him to break, just so he could help him.
Glacies knew he was nearly at that point as well, but the others, he couldn't take care of himself until they were okay.
Logically, Glacies knew that trying to find them at his own expense wouldn't help anyone, it'd only cause worry and panic, and if he didn't treat the wound, he would surely bleed out before he found them. But he just wanted to find them, it was all he could think about, his body always had a habit of making an effort to show that he was perfectly fine.
He hated it.
Glacies continued walking with Viburnum beside him, then he felt a large swell of pain and heat emerge from his wound, his breath caught and he let out a pained exhale.
"Glacies-"
"I'm fine, the faster we find them, the faster Venenum can help me," Glacies said stiffly, and Viburnum grabbed his shoulder.
"We don't know how long that will be," Viburnum cried, and Glacies shrugged him off and kept walking.
"Longer if we stop," Glacies muttered, it was nearly morning, they had been traveling since the attack on the camp, the confrontation with Sagitta and Pluma was an annoyance and Glacies wished he had truly kept to his word and killed them both.
Another swelling of pain goes through Glacies' side, more painful then the last, and he pants as his shoulder's hunch.
"Glacies!"
The Ice Knight's fists clenched, and Viburnum grabbed him again.
"Rest, Snowflake, let me help you," Viburnum said as he held Glacies up.
"No, not in the open," Glacies grunted, they were too far from the cover of trees, they were closer to the docks, and he'd rather have the people there help him, they weren't Venenum, but at this rate, the logical side of Glacies was overpowering his desires.
He reached out for Viburnum's arm when the other set him down on his side opposite of his injured one.
"Too vulnrable," Glacies said, but Viburnum wasn't listening as he pulled up his undershirt again.
"It looks like it's getting infected, dammit, Glacies, why didn't you let me help you!" it was a retorical question, and Glacies wasn't sure if he could think of an answer that would justify his actions.
Glacies wasn't sure how much longer he could cling to consciousness, his senses were beginning to slip.
But there was one thing that came to mind, his very delirious mind.
"F-Fulgur? Ignis... Venenum?" Glacies whispered, his numb shaking hand reaching out to the people he cared for the most aside from Viburnum, he could see them, they were standing above him.
"Glacies!"
Fulgur? That was his voice calling out to him.
"Stay with me!"
Glacies blinked under the hood.
He could feel the warmth of Ignis' hand in his, and Venenum was looking at his wound. Wait, Glacies was wounded? How?
Glacies groaned as his head rolled to its side, his head was pounding as it came back to him.
He needed to get back to them, he needed to find them, find Fulgur, Ignis, Venenum, he needed to find them.
