I have a feeling people are going to love this part
Glacies was alone in the tent, the entrance sealed so he could finally take off his hood.
Sighing, he ran a bare hand through his messy hair, then put his head in his hands. He needed to get out of this bandit outfit, or he'd go crazy.
As he removed the tunic, Glacies ran a hand over the bandage wrapped around his stomach. He stretched, feeling several bones pop as he moved his sore body. It had been about a day since Glacies had woken up, and Viburnum had refused to let him go anywhere.
Glacies sensed Viburnum's anger at him for not allowing him to treat the wound; his body language said it all, along with the hints of malice in Viburnum's voice when he spoke. Viburnum was worried about Glacies as well as justifiably angry with him.
Glacies was sure that the wound itself had made him delirious, and his determination to find their companions was clouding his judgment.
He wasn't sure how long he had been in the tent, lost in thought as his body relaxed. He let his mind wander to various matters. Glacies knew the others would come for him as soon as they could; all he had to do was wait.
Time passed in the tent, though it felt like only moments before he heard Viburnum calling his name.
Quickly, Glacies put the hood and tunic back on, not bothering to grab anything else except the bandit sword.
When he stepped outside, he saw many Barbarians and Bandits gathered in one area. Viburnum grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the group of allies.
Then Glacies heard shouting—demanding.
"Where is he? What have you done with him?"
Glacies pushed through the crowd into the inner circle, his heart skipping a beat upon seeing familiar helmets.
"Fulgur! Ignis! Venenum!" he cried out with relief as he dropped his sword and rushed to hug his friends, who were just as happy to see him. Fulgur squeezed him tightly in a group hug.
"Glacies!" they all exclaimed joyfully.
They pulled away, except for Fulgur, who kept his hands on Glacies' shoulders.
The bandits and barbarians eventually returned to their tasks around the camp.
"I'll inform Aquae of your arrival, and he'll be ready to go as soon as you are," Fortitudo said with a smile as he walked off.
"Thank you, my friend," Glacies replied, glancing in the direction of the tent he had just occupied.
He needed to see the others' faces.
Fulgur seemed to think the same, following Glacies' gaze.
They all ran toward the tent, leaving Viburnum behind in the dust.
"You're welcome," Viburnum muttered, brushing off dust from the bandit tunic.
Glacies pulled them into the tent, taking off his hood, the others taking off their helmets, Glacies hugged Fulgur again as soon as his helmet was off, and the other two joined in.
"Oh, thank the King! Glacies! We were so worried!" Venenum cried as he hugged him again.
"What about you?? I saw the Necromancer attack you. Are you injured?" Glacies asked as he looked over Venenum and Ignis.
"We're fine, Ignis saved us," Venenum said as he put an arm around Ignis, and Glacies was sure he was the only one that saw the flushing of Ignis' face.
