"No, seriously, I feel sick." I say as I gather the information on why he was bullying me all these years.
"Do you want me to go to the office with you?" He asks.
I stop dead in my tracks and look him dead in the eyes, something I done rarely.
"No." I say.
"All I want you to do is leave and never talk to me again. Especially now that you're doing this, 'I like you' thing."
Will looks around and laughs.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
I widen my eyes and think, "unbelievable."
"You can't just tell me you like me, expecting me to fall for you or something. You just feel bad for me." I say.
He looks at me and furrows his eyebrows.
"Why would I feel bad for you?" He asks.
I roll my eyes and start walking again.
He runs up beside me and takes his hands out of his pocket.
"Because of all the hell you made me go through, and because you always made fun of my family and I." I say.
"I am sorry for that but thats not why I like you." He says as he walks beside me.
"You don't like me." I say.
"Yeah, I do." He says.
"I would have liked you being nice way more than you being a dick to me, trust me." I say.
"Its pathetic really because do you understand how many times I've cried to myself and the times my parents asked what's wrong, I couldn't tell them because I was happy with them working for my needs and all?"
He looks down as if he's really sympathetic, but even sympathetic says 'pathetic'.
"I'm sorry but I think you should leave me alone." I say.
"That's not happening alright?" Will says in a loud voice.
He got a few looks but he didn't notice like I did.
"I'm trying to express my feelings for you." He says.
He looks over at me and sighs.
"I just didn't know how to start talking to you. If I was nice you would just assume I liked you and so would everyone else. I just wanted to talk to you in some way that wouldn't be obvious."
I laugh as I think of a funny comeback.
"My dads nice to me, I think he has a crush going on." I say.
Will unexpectedly laughs and it makes me laugh more.
We look at each other but I look away quickly.
I always thought he was a good looking guy, but there was no way I was going to like him just because he 'likes' me.
"I'm serious." He says stopping and then looking at me dead serious.
"And then there's the part of me that thinks, will she like me? Of course not why would someone that looks like that, want something that looks like this." He says as he points at me then himself.
"And then I tell myself that a girl like you is too good for me, especially since I'm such a douche bag." He says.
I laugh and think about how true his words were.
It seemed so suspicious that he was coming out with this now.
"Why are you telling me that you like me now?" I ask.
He looks at me and his smile fades.
"Well, since I never really got on good ends with you, I decided nows the time since I'm moving." He says.
Something in my body drops.
I don't know if its because I had some type of feelings for him or because I wanted to get to know this unknown Will Poulter guy in front of me.
"Where to?" I ask.
"I'm going to America after senior year, a.k.a this year." He says, actually saying "a.k.a."
I look at him and smile.
"Well, I hope all goes well in America then." I say as I put out my hand.
He looks at my outstreched hand and gives me a confused look.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"Well, this is how you introduce yourself to new people, so, hi, I'm (Y/N) (Y/L/N)."
He smiles a cheeky smile and shakes my hand.
"Hey, I'm Will Poulter."
