He Gets You Away From A Bad Guy (Boyfriend).

Will's Point Of View

I watch (Y/N) as she looks out the window of my car.
Her eyes are slightly bloodshot with a sheer glossy coat from where she has been crying all night.
The silence between us so far onn the way to my house was comfortable, but I wish she would say something to me.
"What did he do this time?" I ask as I look over to her.
She sighs as if she's been waiting to hear the question I had just asked and I thought for a moment that maybe, just maybe, I shouldn't have asked that first. Maybe a nice, 'you look nice tonight,' would do.
"He got mad at me for you calling me earlier." She says as she rubs the underneath of her eyes with her long sleeve shirt.
I grunt and feel my face sink.
"You need to fucking leave him." I say as calmly as I can, but it still sounded stirn.
Her hands hit her knees and she looks at me.
"Do you think I don't know this?" She asks me in a loud tone.
I knew she was mad but God Damn, I am too.
She deserves better.
"Obviously you don't because here I am picking up the glass after your boyfriend broke it." I say, satisfied with the words I've chosen.
I can see from the corner of my eye that her mouth had opened slightly. I was too mad to look at her directly.
"Because sometimes he's great." She says in a whisper after a while.
I stifle a fake laugh and look over at her as I pull over on the road.
I hit my knees with my hands and I look over at her.
"Listen to yourself (Y/N), you said sometimes he's nice, you must obviously know that he's a dick. Why don't you just call the police on his ass and have him arrested or something!" I say almost yelling.
"I can't do that!" She says back in the same tone I did, possibly making it louder than I had.
I roll my eyes and reach my hand over my body, un-buckling my seatbelt.
I open the car door and walk to the back and just stand there looking at the dark road behind us.
I stood there as if I was about to commit suicide, with my hands formed into fists and a tall figure saying, "I give up."
"Will." I hear her say.
I run my hands up to my face and cover it.
"Don't come near me (Y/N), I'm serious." I say as I look behind me.
"Will, please stop." She says.
"Please don't be mad at me."
I look at her finally and she's all wrapped up in her black hoodie with once again, glossy eyes, and her eyes are looking at the ground beneath us as I look at her.
Somehow, my breathing slowed down as I continued to look at her.
"Its just..." I begin to say.
I try to find the right words but I only come up with a few as I bite my lower lip.
"Its just, he always tells you what to do, he always tells you what to say, what to wear, what to think (Y/N), you always worry about what he wants, and do you even think he worries about what you want?" I ask her in a low voice now.
I was calmed down now and all I wanted was a serious discussion right now and not a heated as hell argument about some douche I could care less about.
"No, no, I know he doesn't care about me Will or my opinions." She says.
She walks up to me a little bit, but I'm guessing its because she can't see me in the spot she was in.
But I could see her.
"The thing is, I wonder what your opinion is on everything, I love the way you are, I love the way you speak, I love the words you speak, I love you. Why can't you just see that?" I ask her as I feel myself begin to cry.
She looks me in the eyes and she pulls her sweatshirt down to below her waist.
"Thank you." She says in a little voice.
She runs up to me and hugs me, making me startled but then I soon settle down in her arms as she does mine.
"I appreciate everything you do for me Will." She says as she pulls away while fixing the collar on my shirt.
She laughs and its just the most sweet sound I've ever heard in my lifetime.
