5 - Revenge is sweet.
{Calum's point of view}
Early this morning, we broke into the school and Michael and Ashton filled 3 buckets with syrup. Rigging the rope up to this so that when he pulls it the syrup will fall on the head master and when he lets it go it will release the white feathers. Luke filled up three buckets with arts and craft feathers; all pure white to complement his complexion. Amazing wasn't the word to describe the adrenaline rush I have at the moment; this was going to go down in history and as for Arabella; well she won't win after this.
"You excited boys?" Slapping Michael's shoulder, they all yawned in unison, tired from being up early this morning: three A.M.
"Dude, is this really worth it? We are going to get in so much trouble." Ashton sighed and my eyes popped out at him.
"This is totally worth it! She is not going down without a fight!" I yelled at the group of boys that were sometimes scared of rebellion, but I had always been like this. "Suck it up and be a man!" Becoming like a drill Sargent at a military camp.
Arabella and her group of friends joined us. She clung to my arm and smiled brightly at me, looking at the boys also. Each of her minions had clung to Michael's, Luke's and Ashton's arm. The boys and I gave each other a look to show we knew that they were up to something.
"You alright boys?" Arabella smiled at us and Michael nodded like a puppy on drugs. We all fell into fits of laughter and I looked down at her.
"Whatever you think you have got planned isn't going to work." I gritted my teeth while saying these words, still smiling at the group.
"Do you want to keep your -"I cut her off before she could finish her sentence; Beth looked at us. Beth's short blonde hair: that was cut in an edgy way fell in front of her emerald eyes. Her thin lips were closed and her petite face glanced up at Michael, Michael looked down on her also.
"Give it up Arabella. You aren't going to win; you never will. Do you want to keep your hair because I will happily shave it off? C'mon you are being pathetic, thinking you can play nice when you know we are onto you." The boys walked off with the girls, going into the assembly hall. Pushing Arabella against the wall, I placed my arms either side of her face. "Give up while you still have your dignity." My words dripped like venom.
"Calum, I don't know what you are talk -" Cutting her off again, she rolled her eyes and tried getting free from my grasp.
"And where do you think you are going?" I smirked at her failure and knew I was going to win this argument.
"Just let me go and we can call it quits?" Sounding more like a question, I shook my head, no.
"I'd rather see you squirm." The bell rang, alarming me to get into position; I bowed down to her left ear. "This isn't over Arabella." My words purred in her left hear, falling from my lips with ease. I smacked her bum and walked off to the assembly hall. Sitting down on the grey plastic chairs that were lined out neatly in numerous rows; I joined the boys, and the head-master introduced the assembly.
"Good morning everyone!" He yelled with a huge smile on his face. Our year and replied to him in unison. Grinning to myself inside, the boys looked up at the six black buckets above, Mr Ball's head.
"Good Morning, Mr Ball." The school's voices sounding ecstatic from the zombies that roamed the halls. They must've been replaced by a lively bunch of squirrels, I thought to myself.
"Today is a great day! It is awards assembly and I am proud to present these awards to the lucky people who were recommended by your teachers." Gesturing to the teachers that stood either side of the hall, he pulled on the rope. The presentation was good but, the red tomato that was covered in golden syrup was even better. Mr Ball released the robe and the feathers fell swiftly but, quickly and stuck to him like glue. The hall fell into a chorus of laughs and so did we, even the teachers were laughing. Mr Ball wiped his glass lenses and shouted, "Silence!" The room fell into silence as Mr Ball requested but, I stood up and clapped slowly.
"The white feathers match your complexion, Sir!" I yelled to him and he looked at me, everyone looked at me. I made my way to the stage and stood next to him, dipping my finger in the golden syrup and tasting it. "Glory" I whispered, just loud enough for the head-master to hear me. "Arabella Rose, do you mind joining me on stage?" She looked down and agreed to come up, walking on stage she stood in front of me.
"Yes, Calum?" Arabella smiled at the students and teacher before her.
"Revenge is sweet." Pulling down her skinny jeans; I walked off stage and out of the assembly hall, leaving the terrified girl stood there as the students laughed at her. This didn't feel right...
