12- I'm Going To Kill You.

{arabella's point of view}

Sunday. It was always the worst day of the week. I know Monday's were pretty shitty, the dull classes, the lack of sleep catching up on you, the moaning. But Sunday, you were just awaiting that. Knowing that it was coming, knowing you had no choice but to let the inevitable roll around.

Just like any normal Sunday, we were at Natalia's. Her parents had this weird job that forced them out of the house on Sunday's. This meeting was the only thing to look forward too; not this week though. I hadn't seen any of my girls since the party, I didn't know if they had seen me with Calum yet.

I pulled up, as normal, and walked in, alone. I could see the other girls' cars parked in front of mine and I instantly knew they were all here. They'd probably all be discussing my antics already. I had told Calum yesterday to tell the boys he left and ended up with another girl but kicked her out and found a random place to sleep, which happened to be where I was, so that was the story I was sticking to; but there were blank spaces I needed to fill, and I couldn't just say I'd shagged someone. I mean, I could, but they wouldn't believe me; they knew boys our age just annoyed me.

"Arabella..." Beth spoke as I entered the 'girls room'. It used to be her play room but we gave it an extreme makeover.

"Girls. How are we today? Any news? Any plans for the week?" I asked, immediately avoiding the upcoming conversation.

"The biggest news on the block is you and Calum?" I scoffed at Mia's words. No matter what happened, he was still competition and I still hated him.

"Oh yeah?" I challenged. Meredith decided she wouldn't wait around, she'd ask me straight away.

"People witnessed you groping, flirting and someone even said you slept together." I physically laughed at her words. People were so naive.

"Okay, I know none of you are stupid enough to believe any of those rumours," I said, making sure they felt bad for even considering the thought. "I know you like the boys but you all know how anti-Calum I am. I would never let anything like that ever happen," I confirmed. They nodded, slowly; I knew they didn't believe me, so I carried on. "I know you're all dying to know the grusome details so you have an excuse to crawl into bed with the other lanky idiots but you will be disappointed. He kept trying to hit on me, like he has recently, and he cornered me, groping my bum. I insulted him and walked away but he found me and did it again, thinking he was sexy but he was clearly on something. From that point, when I had to threaten him again, he left me alone and from what I've heard, got a bang out of some blonde. Not a dark haired person. As for the sleeping together thing, I was too drunk. Beth you know this first hand, I insulted you, I'm sorry for that, and then practically fell away before dancing with strangers all night. When I got too tired and the alcohol hit me, making me unable to stand, as per usual, I found the nearest empty room and crashed. When I woke up, by Calum hittting pans in my ear like the child he is, I found out he had also found the room I was in. He didn't recognize me but he certainly did not sleep in the bed. He told me, so I could shoot down rumours like these, that he slept on the chair and he hated me because he had a stupid crick in his neck. That is all that happened. Sorry to disappoint." I sat down and smiled smugly. There was no way anyone would question that. I made sure my voice was a mixture of disgust and venom; which it usually was when talking about Calum.

"That hasn't disapointed us, that's reassured us. We thought you had broken your own code and that would've made our whole group fall to the floor, forget the top of the ladder, we wouldn't even be on it any more. Calum would practically own you; meaning he would own our group, meaning he would be-" I cut her off. I felt sick. The reality was hitting, I didn't know why I didn't like listening to her. I had always known that was the case but her explaining it after the night just made me feel, dirty. I gulped.

"I know what it means thank you Natalia. But there was never any need to worry. I thought you would know me better than that." I was shocked that my girls thought I would go there with Calum, out of anyone in our school, Calum Hood, as if.

"We do. But we needed to know the facts so we can shoot down the stupid rumours as well," Mia explained. I nodded in her direction, signalling I respected her point.

"I've had enough talking about me, what about you girls?" As the words left my mouth my text tone rang through the room; it wasn't my normal text tone, it was Calum's. I set it so I knew not to let the girls reply for me. I felt their eyes on me as I picked the phone out of my pocket. "Carry on, I can text and listen you know," I joked. I saw them acknowledge my hint and they carried on discussing their eventful night of sexual activities.

I know you're talking about me with the girls. Tell them how good I was in bed. Tell them I rocked your world baby. Tell them you're head over heels in love with me. Tell them how much you miss me right now and how you can't wait to get to school so I can brighten your shitty day up.

I laughed at the stupid text and it earnt some dirty stares. But I shook it off and carried on pretending to listen.

Stop texting me, they're grilling me already. You're not helping.

If sending a virtual slap was possible, trust me I would've used it.

You love it really ;) You can't wait to see me, I know you can't. Are you telling them about your undying love for the Calum Hood? I dare you.

Beth coughed and I looked up. They were all staring at me.

"What?" I asked them.

"We asked you what you thought of Brandon, Natalia got with him," Beth informed me. Brandon was one of those football players that you see in the movies, stupid but extremely well built. I hadn't got to know him but I knew he treated girls nice.

"Do it. I've heard he treated his last bitch like a queen, it made her cheat, I don't know why but that was her reasoning. 'He treated me too nice' what a stupid thing to say," I muttered. They went back to discussing the bad boys and hot boys and I went back to my phone.

I'm going to kill you when I see you.

I smiled when I saw he had read it and was typing but I quickly shook the smirk off. It was wrong.

No you won't, I'm the only interesting thing at school remember. Deep down you know we're going to end up together.

I rolled my eyes at his try to embarrass me, it wouldn't work. He was making a fool of himself but his conversation was a lot better than the girls.
