11 - Agreement
{Calum's point of view}
The sunlight shone brightly into the window, its rays burning my eyes as I opened my eyelids. I groaned and stretched my arms and legs; my muscles loosening up from the tense muscles that had built up in the night. Stumbling to the en suite; I grabbed some pain killers from the cupboard and a glass of water. I put them in my mouth and downed the water; I leaned against the door frame and checked Arabella was asleep. Remembering episodes from last night stunned me. I walked downstairs to see glass bottles and red cups scattered around the floor, bodies of the drunks from last night lay in awkward positions. I worked my way around the mess and people to get two pans from the kitchen cupboard underneath the sink. Turning around and going back upstairs; losing my balance occasionally. Bending down next to Bella's ear, I smacked the pans together.
"Calum! You're such an arse!" I burst into fits of laughter as she woke up in shock and rubbed her forehead. I caught my breath after she slapped me across the back of the head.
"I know, and we need to talk." I stumbled getting up and got Arabella two pain killers and a fresh glass of water. She took them instantly and I sat down on the chair that I slept on. "Do you remember anything from last night?" She sat in silence and then nodded. "What do you remember?" Looking like a deer in headlights, she answered me.
"I remember you tried to hit on me and it failed, I pissed you off and my memory goes blank, then I went outside and we were groping each other, you took something which I definitely remember and I helped you out. Then we went to sleep." She shrugged, not seeming like she cared that we got that close. I nodded.
"Same here but, I don't remember taking anything." I looked down and pushed my hand through my hair; trying to pretend I didn't take drugs.
"Does your arse ever get jealous of the amount of shit that comes out of your mouth?" Bella smiled thinking she had made a smart remark. Obviously I took something; I always take something at a party.
"If anyone finds out about what we did, it won't go down well with the guys, the girls or anyone." My voice stern but, husky; Arabella nodded in agreement and sat up in the bed.
"I agree it won't be good for our reputation." I looked at her, admiring at how she woke up beautiful. I don't mean beautiful. I can't think about her like that, she is my competition, not my friend. "We won't mention it to others, just keep it between us." Bella shrugged and I nodded, I didn't want to argue with her but, I wanted to tease her.
"So, you like it that I touched you?" I came closer to her and sat on the bed, turning to her. I touched her thigh and she slapped my hand away.
"Calum, I was drunk." Her voice stern and I held up my hands and smirked.
"Don't like it when I touch you there?" Grinning at her cringing, she slipped out of the bed and I starred at her arse.
"Calum, no," she whispered and pulled her dress down.
"Shame," Arabella sniggered and I smirked at her. Turning to face me, she sighed and slouched. "I love your outfit; did it come with a pole?"
"I think the pole came with the sluts, who throw themselves at you, I'm sorry that I am not an easy lay, Cal." She shrugged and sat down next to me.
"So are we agreeing to keep this between me and you?" Bella nodded and held out her hand.
"Phone," Ordering me to give it to her, I did and she tapped away. I looked at the screen to see she put her number in my contacts and I did the same to her phone.
"What now?"
"Now, I leave," she replied casually, as if just then meant nothing. Which it shouldn't. She began to walk out of the door. I looked at her, in her short black dress, I knew she would be cold.
"Bella," I called after her. I heard her sigh and saw her slowly turn around.
"Calum, if you're going to shoot another pick up line at me..." Her words trailed off, as if she didn't want to finish the sentence.
"That wasn't what I was going to do, but I can always throw one in if you want?" I smirked at her as I saw her trying to refrain from smiling.
"I'll pass, what did you want? Because I want to leave," she said, her eyes piercing mine.
"You're going to freeze, take my jacket." I shrugged the oversized jumper off my shoulders and held it out for her. She looked hesitant but eventually reached out and took it from my hands.
"Thank you," she mumbled, I knew she didn't want the words to leave her lips but they did. I wanted to make a snide remark but I had just given her my jumper, I couldn't say anything.
She pulled it over her head, her dress riding up her legs slightly; I couldn't help but stare, her body was pretty insane.
I spent the day with the boys, talking about what girls they pulled. When it came around to talking about what I did, I was nervous. Arabella and I had decided not to tell people but I can't just say I did nothing all night. If I hadn't done something memorable, my reputation would drop.
I picked up my phone and typed in Bella.
What do I say I did last night instead of 'chilling' with you, babe?
