P L O T T W I S TPrologue
"Fate is for losers."
-Douglas Coupland
Life is like the sun. It shines brightly, and although darkness does overtake it, you know that no matter what, it will rise again. My life has been like the sun, rising again in times of darkne -
No.
I can't do this.
I'm sorry, but there is just no way I can give you some "deep" speech about the sun and life without falling asleep or banging my head against a wall. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for deep, inspiring speeches to start things off, but this is just not me.
I'm so not that girl.
You know what I'm talking about - the kind of girl with a dark past and bad self-esteem. She's usually accompanied by a huge amount of angst and bad decisions. Not to mention, she's always the main character in her own little fictional book.
And you know what? It's totally cool.
What kind of reading selection would we have if you took out all the dark, tortured female leads making bad decisions?
Hello, there'd be no selection.
The only thing left would be the dictionary and some parenting books on how to effectively raise a human being without scarring them emotionally the rest of their lives. I actually did find a few of those how-to-parent books in my mom's closet a few years ago, and after reading the first couple chapters, I think it's safe to say the only thing I will ever raise is a cactus.
But, anyway, back on topic.
Like I said, I'm not exactly main character material, and I'm okay with that. If someone were to throw me into the Hunger Games, I would be damn smitten with just being a shrub.
Hell, someone transport me into a Harry Styles' fanfiction and I'll insist on being a pair of his skinny jeans rather than his love interest. Although, let's be honest. Who wouldn't want to be wrapped around that hunk's legs all the time? With such firm thighs and -
Okay, seriously, that was the last time I'm getting off topic - scout's honor.
So, anyhow, I guess my whole point here is that I'm not like all those other heroines. You can't simply take me out of my boring, sloth-like teenage life and chuck me into a shitty, cliche Werewolf wattpad novel without expecting me to shake things up a bit.
I might not even be the main character or have the kind of qualifications to be dealing with possessive werewolves, but you can be sure that I'm not about to roll over and let this whole thing take it's course. Damn the cliches! It's not everyday that someone does get transported into a book, and I doubt I was sent here to simply let things happen.
Nope, not with this girl here.
Watch out, Cliche Werewolf Wattpad Novel, you're about to get a major plot twist in the form of a short, sassy red-headed side character.

Author's Note: Okay, this is the first story I've ever really published and been serious about, guys. I've read the werewolf genre for awhile, and let's just say, I was getting ready to bash my head into the wall if I read about another white wolf with rare powers who gets rejected by her mate because she isn't pretty enough.
So, I decided to write my own story. I came up with the idea of taking that same, typical plot-line and throwing in a crazy character who can just look at it and go, "Are you idiots serious?" Calypso is definitely going to be crazy and fun, and the best part is, she's not even the main character in this cliche, werewolf "book". She'll definitely have her own little romance going on, but not right away.
Also, please let me know if you see a similar story like this. This idea is completely mine - created from the brain of yours truly.
So, I think that's all! I really appreciate any kind of reads, votes, or comments I get and I will be updating often!
