They were on the platform, standing out in their black cloaks.

She easily spotted her parents, standing next to her aunt and uncle, and Bellatrix. Adhara tried not to shake as she approached. She looked off to the side where James was whispering to his mother and father. Sirius and Remus were behind them, standing with the cloaked Regulus. Sabine Dubious was inching closer to him by the moment, and Adhara prayed she would not blow his cover. She didn't even want to know how the girl recognized him.

"Adhara." Her mother says, her quiet voice like a whip.

"Mother." She greets. Her voice was cold, unfeeling. She could not show her fear, or Regulus's life may be on the line.

"Where is your brother? He was expected home." Her mother snaps. Adhara tries not to gulp.

"Dumbledore requested he stay behind. Another prefect is doing it also, it will increase his chances of becoming head boy." She lies. Her mother's eyes narrow.

"Very well. Come now, we have places to be." Her mother clutches her arm, and they spin into apparation.

Adhara knew it was a trap.

She stood in the Lestrange dining room, which was filled with death eaters. Her father forced her into a chair. They were chattering excitedly, and Adhara's stomach filled with nerves.

"Where is the young Lord Black?" Voldemort hisses. All eyes turn to Adhara and her father.

"Dumbledore requested his company at the school." She says quietly. She was sure only he heard her, because she was right next to him.

"A shame. Carrow, fetch them." He orders. The dark haired man stands and exits the room, returning with a dreary Amycus and Alecto. Their eyes were still unfocused, and both wore confused looks.

It hits Adhara at once. This was their induction ceremony. They would take the mark and become death eaters. This is what had them so excited. But it still didn't explain what they wanted with Regulus.

And where was Severus?

He wasn't at the table, not in the empty chair that was designed for him, placed in-between Regulus and Adhara. Was he dead? Did he give her away? Had he run?

"Now, after the Carrow's take their marks, we will have a special induction; a welcome of sorts. Miss Black will lead them." Voldemort says. Her head jerks to him.

"You will go on one more muggleborn and muggle hunt tonight." Voldemort grins wickedly. Adhara's stomach clenches. She thought that part was over. But she knew it never would be, she was a fool to believe so. She was a killer. That's all she was to him.

"Mr. Snape." Voldemort calls. Greyback appears, supporting a weak looking Severus. He was bruised and broken. Adhara quickly stands.

"What have you done to him?" She hisses.

"What I must. Sit, child." He orders. Adhara slowly sits, her eyes not coming off Severus.

"You will go to Cokeworth, to the third house on the second street. The white house with the picket fence. You will murder every man, woman, and child in that house. You will then demolish it, and cast the mark over it."
