Adhara spent the week avoiding the marauders.

The guilt ate at her stomach, and she considered caving and telling them what had happened at the match. She held out though, not as much for herself as Regulus and Pandora. Pandora would be subject to many detentions, and Regulus would be suspended from the team, even if he had nothing to do with cheating.

"You've been spending an awful lot of time alone." Barty settles next to her on the couch. It was late, and only Amycus and Mulciber stayed in the common room. Barty knew what they were waiting for, and he wouldn't let them have it.

"I could say the same about you." She hums quietly, leaning her head against his shoulder. He lets out a sigh of content and rests his head on hers.

"I've missed you, Ara." He whispers. She smiles slightly, her eyes flicking to look up at him.

"Then stop doing this to yourself. Come back to us, make things right with Evan."

"I-I can't."

"Why not Barty? We are in the middle of a war. Why must you deny yourself such happiness?" She sighs.

"I just can't keep doing this. His father would disown him. He would never seen Pandora again, and my father would never speak to me. He would be so ashamed of me." Barty drops his head, and she places a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"My parents would probably kill me if they found out about me and Remus. But it's a risk I'm willing to take because I love him. Any one of us could die tomorrow and there's not a thing we could do about it. Tell Evan you love him before it's too late."

"But what if it's the reason he gets killed? What if they find out and then they put a target on Evan's back? What then, Ara? How would I live knowing I was the reason Evan was dead?" Barty chokes up a little, and Adhara looks around to make sure no one was listening.

"I think about that every day. I make myself sick thinking about what they could do to Remus." She sighs. Barty turns to stare into the fire, and silence falls between them.

Adhara thinks of Remus, and she knows Barty's thinking about Evan. Maybe in another life they wouldn't have to hide who they loved. Maybe she would be able to bring Remus home, introduce him to two people who would love him just because they loved her.

"We have to stop thinking of what could be." The voice belonged to neither her nor Barty, and they both looked up to spot Pandora. She was in a purple nightgown, and her almost white curls were messy like she had just woken from a fitful sleep.

"Are you alright, Panda?" Barty asks gently, rising from the couch and holding his hands out to her. The girl shook her head slightly, tears springing to her eyes.

They all knew about Pandora. They knew what she was and the things she saw. She was a seer. The best seer Adhara had ever met.

"Awful. So awful." Her voice was a choked whisper, and Adhara's heart plummeted.

"Panda, what did you see?" She asks gently. Pandora turns on her slowly, before opening her mouth slightly.

"The years ahead shall be perilous,
The traitor will fall,
Suffering shall strike the order,
The spy must decide who shall be spared,
The wolf must walk alone again,
And the next generation must live it once more."

Barty launched himself forward to catch Pandora as she fell to the ground, but Adhara was frozen in her spot. It was a prophecy. A prophecy about the people she knew and loved. A prophecy that would doom their children.

"W-what happened?" Pandora lets out a small cough. Barty was rubbing her bag and stroking her hair, but his eyes held a panicked look.
