They go down into the basement and the guys go wild. Scott and Mitch gets into a heated game of air hockey while Kevin plays one of the arcade style video games. Kirstie goes to the bar and fixes them all something to drink.
"Hey, Kirst?" Kevin calls from the game he is playing.
"Yea?" she answers without looking up.
"Uh, this Pac Man game just came on all by itself over here." Kevin says puzzled.
She looks up to see Avi playing Pac Man. He looks over his shoulder at her and gives her an evil smile.
"Oh, Uh," she says walking over to the stool Avi is sitting on pushing him off the stool with her hip so she could sit down.
"Hey, That was mean." Avi yells as he hits the floor and pouts.
"Uh, this game does this sometimes. I need to have it checked out." she says shooting Avi a dirty look.
After they get thru playing their games, they all sit down on the couch with their drinks to talk.
"So, Kirstie, was there something you wanted to talk to us about?" Mitch asked.
"Yes there is, but before I start I want you guys to know that I AM NOT CRAZY!, O.K.?" she says looking at Avi spinning around on his favorite bar stool.
"Oh, God, where do I start." Kirst says.
"It's always best to begin at the beginning," Avi says still spinning around.
"Yea, O.K.." She starts again, "This house was built and lived in by a guy named Avriel Kaplan, up until a little over two years ago."
"Avriel Kaplan? Avriel Kaplan." Kevin mumbles out loud, "That names sounds familiar. Oh wait, didn't he get murdered or something? Seems like I remember hearing something about it on the news a few years ago."
"Yes," Kirstie nods, "He got murdered right here in his own house. They never caught who did it."
"Whoa, wait a minute," Mitch butts in, "You're not fixing to tell us this place is haunted are you? Cause momma don't want to hear it."
"As a matter of fact Mitch, that's exactly what I saying. His name is Avi."- Kirstie
Kevin starts, "You know I remember reading that if a life is taken suddenly such as being murdered, that the soul is not at rest."
"Nooooo," Mitch whines, "Hush Kevin, you're scaring me." Mitch then notices that Scott hasn't said a word since the conversation started. "Scott, why aren't you saying anything about this?"
"Oh, I'm just sitting here watching that bar stool spin around for no reason." Scott says nervously.
They all watch as the bar stool spins around a couple more times then stops.
Avi notices everyone is staring in his direction, even tho no one could see him but Kirstie. He shrugs and smiles at her.
"OH! HELL NO!! MOMMA'S OUTTA HERE!!!" Mitch yells jumping up.
"NO! WAIT! MITCH!, Kirstie grabs him by the arm, "He won't hurt you!"
"TO HELL HE WON'T!!" Mitch screams panicking, "HADN'T YOU EVER WATCHED 'AMITYVILLE HORROR??"
Avi laughs clapping his hands together.
"Do you see or hear him?" Scott ask.
"All the time", she answers, "He's really sweet. He even fixes me breakfast." She smiles at Avi and he winks at her and blows her a kiss.
"Oh no, this girl is leaving and she's leaving right now." Mitch says trying to get Kirstie to turn loose of his arm.
"Mitch, would it help if I told you he is really, really cute?" Kirstie ask knowing Mitch's weakness for cute guys.
"How cute?" Mitch sounded interested.
"GORGEOUS!" Kirstie says glancing over at Avi with a smirk.
"Really??" Avi asked sitting up straight with a sudden boost of confidence.
"Where's he at? Kevin ask
"Sitting on the bar stool," she said nodding toward the stool.
"So he was the one spinning it? Scott ask
"Yep and he was also the one that was playing the Pac Man game." she said glancing over at Kevin.
"We want to see him, or we're all gonna think you are NUTS", Kevin said staring at the stool.
"Nooooo." whined Mitch.
"You guys have to promise me NOT to say a word about this to anyone." Kirstie says looking at her three friends.
"Promise." They all said and she even made them pinky swear.
"Avi? It's totally up to you." Kirstie says looking toward Avi on the bar stool.
Avi gives a nervous sigh and nods. He bows his head.
Before their very eyes they see an image of a man began to appear. After several seconds the image becomes a solid human form. He slowly raises his head and looks at them.
"Noooooo." Mitch whines just before fainting.
