"Ugh!!! I've had it with this small ass apartment," Kirstie growled to herself, "Everything is so stinking cramped."
Since she had been working for her dad at the law office making good money, Kirstie had decided it was time to try and buy a house. She had already looked at a few but none of them had that 'Wow Factor' that she was looking for. She had an appointment to meet her real estate agent Mrs. Winston at 1:30 to look at another house. She didn't care how big it was and money wasn't an option. The ideal house had to be out there somewhere.
She finally found the shoes she had been looking for and Mrs. Winston had already texted her the address of the house. So she headed out knowing she would be a little early but it would give her a little time to look around outside of the house.
Kirstie finally found the address and made her way up the long drive-way. When the house finally came into view among all the pine trees, she couldn't believe her eyes. There before her was a huge log cabin. It was absolutely breath-taking. The lawn had been well kept and rose bushes were everywhere.
She had been walking around in the yard just taking in all the beauty when she suddenly got the feeling she was being watched. She first looked around the yard to see if she saw anyone. Nothing. She looked up to the second floor of the house, wait a minute, did that curtain just move?
About that time a car horn blew scaring her half to death, jumping around to see Mrs. Winston's car coming up the drive. She smiled and waved as she got out of the car. "Well, what do you think?" she asked in that irritating voice of hers. "The outside is absolutely breathtaking." Kirstie answered. "Isn't it tho, Well then, let's go inside and take a look, shall we?" the lady said as she unlocked the door and stepped aside allowing Kirstie to enter first.
Kirstie walked in and her chin practically hit the floor. Absolutely beautiful. It had the open floor plan that she wanted. Perfect. Huge kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Perfect. Hardwood floors. Perfect. Fireplace. Perfect. Definitely had that log cabin feel to it. There was a beautiful staircase leading to the second floor.
While Kirstie was walking around trying to take everything in, Mrs. Winston was going thru her routine telling her about the house. Kirstie did manage to hear 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths.
"Kirstie, care to check out the patio area?" the lady ask. "Oh, absolutely." Kirstie answered. The patio area was huge, complete with a grill and patio furniture. "Oh my God." she whispered out loud. In front of her was a huge in ground swimming pool. She was standing there looking at the crystal clear water thinking of all the parties she could have here when all of a sudden she got that feeling again. That feeling of being watched.
"Well now, shall we go upstairs and check out the bedrooms?" Mrs. Winston asked. "Sure" Kirstie answered as she followed the lady back inside and up the beautiful staircase.
First she showed her the four smaller bedrooms and baths. Which were not small by no means. Then she walks up to some double doors. "This, my dear, is the master bedroom. You ready for this?" The lady said with a smile. She turns the door handles and pushing the doors wide open.
