Chapter 10

3 days and he hasn’t woken up. The doctor said he had a minor seizure and they had to induce a coma so his brain wouldn’t suffer any damage. The doctors had scheduled to wake him up tomorrow.  Kendall has been keeping me company all this time. He has been the one who gives me hope that everything will be ok.   

All the guys came in today.

“Hey Audrey how you’ve been?” James asked

“I’m a little tired but ok I guess” I answered to him

“Has he been doing ok?” Carlos asked glancing over to Logan

“Well the doctors say if everything goes according to planed, he will wake up tomorrow without any problems” my eyes shined with hope.  

The guys sat down where they could in that stuffy hospital room. I was looking for a place to sit too but every place was taken. Kendall patted his lap for me to take a seat. I was so exhausted that I didn’t even hesitate to sit.  

They spent hours talking and joking around. Kendall put his hands around my waist and caressed my hair making me slowly drift off to sleep as the guys went out to get a late dinner. 

When the guys came back I heard them laughing especially Carlos. Kendall quickly shushed them. They saw me sleeping and said they would be back tomorrow.

The last thing I remember before falling into a deep sleep was Kendall kissing my forehead and whispering “Goodnight lovely”  

The next morning I woke up fully rested.

“Good morning sleepy head!” Kendall stretched from underneath me.

“Good morning! I’m sorry for sleeping on you”

“It’s ok I didn’t mind! You were so beat yesterday” he chuckled ”So… today is the big day huh?”

“Yeah I can’t wait to see his chocolate brown eyes” I gave a shy smile and stood up from his lap “Anything happen when I was asleep?”

“The doctors came in and started him up on a new medication they say he should be awake any minute hopefully”  

I stared out the window letting the sun warm up my skin.

“Kendall…” I felt him stand behind me

“Thank you for everything! Being here would’ve been hell without you!” 

“You’re welcome!” he said.   

I felt his arms wrap around my waist from behind, seconds later he spun me around so I was facing him. He did something I’d never expect.   

His lips pressed to mine. Strangely I kissed him back. His lips were so different from Logan’s but filled with need and compassion. 

“Kendall…      

Logan’s POV  

I was in a dark place. I screamed and nobody could hear me. I ran and I got nowhere. I was left alone with my thoughts.  

What happen? I thought to myself.

That was when I remembered the pill bottle and the ton of alcohol.  

Am I dead?  No I can’t be!  

Where is Blue?   

Where are the guys?   

Why did I do this to myself?  

I started to hear a strange beeping sound. It was slow but steady. Can anyone turn that off? I screamed in my thoughts.  

I saw a little white light. I know that everybody says stay away from the light but I was eager to know what it was.   

As I walked towards the light, it got bigger.   

I started to run towards it and soon the light consumed me. Everything was so bright.   

I realized that I wasn’t in that dark place anymore.   

As my eyes adjusted I saw a couch, a TV and a heart monitor.  

I’m in the hospital?   

I looked to my right and saw two shadows. As my eyes focused more on the shadows I noticed it was Blue and Kendall. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. He held her by her waist and her arms were firmly around his neck as their lips moved in sync sharing a passionate kiss. what shocked me the most was what she said after the kiss.  

“Kendall I…
