Chapter Three: The Next King of Games - Part One

DUEL POV

Jaden: (4000 LP) Go, Sparkman! Use Static Shock Wave!

Yugi: I activate my trap card! Magic Cylinder! It negates your attack and your monsters attack points come out of your lifepoints!

Jaden: Agh! (2400 LP)

Yugi: That means my Gardna is safe, (Atk: 100) (4000 LP)

Jaden: I set a facedown. Its your move now Yugi.

Yugi: (draw) I summon Big Shield Gardna! (Def: 2600) Then I switch my Medium Shield Gardna to defense mode! (Def: 1800) I set one facedown.

Jaden: He is trying to keep his monsters for something, but what is it. (draw) Bingo. He is trying to summon and Egyptian God monster. But that wont happen. I summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix! (Atk: 1200)

Yugi: What are you going to do with those two monsters? They aren't strong enough to destroy my Gardnas.

Jaden: Not yet.

Yugi: What!?

Jaden: I activate the field spell, Skyscraper! In this field all Elemental Heros that battle a monster with higher defense or attack points my monsters gain an extra 1000 attack points!

Yugi: Oh no!

Jaden: Go Burstinatrix and destroy Medium Shield Gardna! (Atk: 1200- 2200)

Yugi: Gah!

Jaden: I end my turn.

Yugi: He must know I'm going to summon my Egyptian God. But all he did was help me summon it. (draw) I activate the spell Monster Reborn to revive Medium Shield Gardna! (Atk: 100) Now I activate the spell Double Summon! It allows me to summon twice this turn. I summon Gazelle the King of Mystical Beasts! (Atk: 1500) Now I tribute Gazelle, Medium and Big Shield Gardna to summon forth the Egyptian God monster, Obelisk the Tormentor! (Atk: 4000)

Jesse: Be careful Jaden!

Jaden: Ah man.

Yugi: Obelisk, attack Sparkman!

Jaden: I activate my facedown! Draining Shield! It negates your attack plus I gain lifepoints equal to Obelisks' attack strength. (6400 LP)

Yugi: Good move Jaden. I end with a facedown card.

Jaden: Alright! (draw) I sacrifice Sparkman and Burstinatrix to summon Yubel! (Atk: 0)

Yubel: Alright Jaden. Lets do this.

Jaden: You know it! Yubel attack Obelisk!

Yugi: But why?!

Jaden: When Yubel is in a battle she cant be destroyed plus then you take damage equal to whatever I would've taken! This is the end Yugi!

Yugi: I don't think so Jaden! (reveals facedown) I activate the trap Half Life. This only makes me take half the damage. Gah!! (2000 LP)

Jaden: Gotchya!

Jesse: Good work Jay!

Jaden: I set a facedown and end my turn.

Yugi: Ill have to find out a way to destroy that Yubel, before it destroys me.
