By the time Zarc returned to his precious Yuus, he was feeling pretty good about how he handled Yugo's ex-witch. Oh, she was SO going to regret abusing the poor blunana. Especially once the curse took effect. Three moons' time was three full lunar cycles, which meant that the curse would take effect in approximately 88.5 days. More than enough time for the terror and dread of being cursed by the King of the Demons to really wreak havoc on her mental state!

Zarc's mood got even better when he saw his beloved Yuus out in Yuri's garden, working together to fix it. Yuri had clearly forgiven Yugo for crash-landing in his cabbages, as it wasn't his fault, and the two of them were planting new cabbages in the cabbage patch. Yuto was using his genie magic to fix the disturbed earth while Yuya sang to help the cabbages grow better. All four of them were covered in garden soil, but they seemed quite happy.

"You boys look like you're having fun together!" Zarc said, smiling at his Yuus. Said Yuus looked up in surprise at his voice, then all waved to him. "Hi, Zarc!" Yugo said excitedly. "Look! We're planting cabbages!"

"Mm, looks like you could use a little help!" Zarc mused. "I could use my infernal power to place wards and other protective magics on the garden to keep everything safe in case someone else crash-lands or anything tries to attack the plants."

"Oh, well that would be very much appreciated!" Yuri agreed. "I don't want anything else bad happening to my precious plants!"

Zarc smiled and raised his hands, chanting in the Demonic tongue quietly. As he chanted, red energy began swirling around. Unlike the blood-red energy that had accompanied his curse on Yugo's ex-witch, this energy was a lighter shade as it was a protective spell.

Yuri smiled contentedly as the energy flowed through his garden. It spread amongst all the plants, not just the newly planted cabbages. Now all his prized plants would be safe from harm!
