Yuri directed Yuya and Yugo to a fishing hole near his garden, and the ningyo and homunculus began their fishing expedition. Timothy the Fox followed closely behind them, seemingly already attached to Yuya.

"So, what's it like being able to shapeshift?" Yugo asked Yuya as the two of them started fishing. Yuya blinked in surprise at the question, then smiled. "Oh, it's pretty nice. I like having my tail, but I also like walking around on legs!"

"And what do merfolk eat?" Yugo asked curiously. He'd never met a merfolk before Yuya, and he wanted to learn as much as he could.

"Oh, we mostly eat fish, but also seaweed and sometimes we hunt whales," Yuya said. "And ningyos like me love to eat pearls too! Mm, pearls..." He licked his lips hungrily at the thought of a delicious pearl.

Yugo blinked in surprise. "Pearls?" he asked. "You eat pearls? Why?"

"They're really good," Yuya said. "They're considered a delicacy amongst ningyos. And they're good for us too!"

Yugo shook his head in bewilderment, but before he could say anything else Timothy pounced on the water and grabbed a fish. The fish thrashed around in his mouth, but he held firm and carried it to the grass. He yipped proudly and began munching on his catch.

"Oh, cool! Foxes really do fish!" Yuya said happily. "Good boy, Timothy!"

"We better get to work if we wanna keep up with him!" Yugo chuckled. Yuya grinned, "Yeah! Let's catch us a good lunch!"
