"Wow, that is so...relieving?" sarcasm and confused tone were mixed into a sentence that Joy just said after Michael told her, Sylvia, and Nathalie what happened earlier.

"Why is that relieving?" Michael asked her.

"I mean, Jack shot it down right? We have nothing to worry about anymore," Joy shrugged and took another bite on the cookie she got from a girl she met outside when she was walking with Michael. Jack raised his eyebrows and nodded.

"Joy, think about this. What if there's more than one that's like what Jack just shot?" Michael stated. "What if...what if there's a huge group of that thing living in the woods and nobody noticed?" he continued. Everybody stared at him and started realizing that he could be right.

"But what is it? The thing. You didn't tell us what exactly the thing is," Sylvia spoke.

"I'm not sure what it was," Jack trailed.

"I'm a hundred percent sure it was a zombie. What else could that be?" Calum blurted.

"You guys actually made me curious about it. I wanna know what's in the woods," Nathalie stated and the room went silent but the silence broke when the girls' room door creaked open and Grace walked out of the room.

"That is such a death wish," Grace told. She was inside the room all the time and actually heard everything they talked about. She walked to the couch where the girls were sitting and then sat on the empty space of the couch.

"Yeah, you'll harm yourself trying to find out what's inside the woods. Even if there's no zombies, there must be a lot of wild animals. Just don't go there," Ashton commanded.

"That's why I won't go there alone. I got you guys, right?" Nathalie said and everybody looked at her didn't believe that she's actually serious about what she said. Joy took a cookie then shoved it inside Nathalie's mouth.

"You have the right to shut up," she said pointing her forefinger to Nath's face then patted her head. "Eat the cookie. It will clear your mind," she added and Nathalie groaned at her.

"Now, where were we?" Joy asked.

"We need to get our van here, guys," Luke blurted.

"Fine, Luke. We're gonna find someone who can help us get that van here," Ashton said getting annoyed with Luke and the van.

"Guys, wait," Michael said and he was looking at the window beside the front door. Everyone turned their heads to the window and saw nothing. "I swear I saw someone," Michael said and he then walked to the door.

"You saw everything today," Calum said flatly.

Michael rolled his eyes then turned the knob. His friends looked at him and waited for something to happen like a zombie attack or something. Well, no they didn't want that. That won't happen anyway because the villagers would've seen it outside.

Michael walked out the door and stood up on the porch. "Mikey?" Joy called making Michael turned his head but he then found a boy hiding behind a chair beside him.

"Hey, little dude," Michael greeted and walked to him. His friends inside the house looked at each other with a confused expression on their faces. A kid again? Why did they always meet kids everywhere?

They walked out the house to see the boy themselves.

"I'm not a little dude, I'm fourteen," they heard a sound that's definitely not Michael's and when they saw who it was, they saw a boy standing in front of Michael. He looked terrified to see everyone was looking at him and Michael.

"I didn't mean to spy on you," the boy said.

"You were spying on us? We didn't notice that," Sylvia said.
