The sound of a knock on the front door was loud enough to wake everyone up inside the house. Most of them burried themselves deeper into their pillows but different than Joy. She couldn't take the noise anymore. The knock was annoying because it actually sounded like "Mary had a little lamb" song. So she sat up and rubbed her eyes. She stood up from her bed then walked out of the room and towards the front door.
She yawned at the same time as she opened the front door. She found the little girl who gave her cookies yesterday. She was standing in front of Joy holding a picnic basket.
"Hi there you," Joy greeted happily trying to hide how annoyed she was because that little girl had interrupted her sleep.
"My momma told me to give you this," the little girl handed Joy the basket before turning around and saying goodbye then left. Joy looked at her leaving in confusion. She opened the basket a little bit and saw sandwiches and fruits inside it.
"Well, what a nice morning it is!" Joy cheered to herself.
She closed the door, put the basket on the table, then threw herself on one of the couches in the livingroom. She was too lazy to go back to the bedroom so she decided to continue her sleep on the couch. It's not that bad though.
One of the doors inside the house creaked open but Joy didn't really care about it. She heard footsteps and the footsteps stopped near her.
"You heard knockings?" said a voice.
"Mhmm," Joy replied and she was looking at him. Michael. Sleepy Michael. His eyes were still closed when he asked the question and his hair was going to every directions.
"Who?" he said and yawned at the same time.
"The girl yesterday. She brought us picnic basket full with foods."
"Nice."
"Are you asleep, Michael? Because your eyes are actually....closed."
"No, cookie is better," Michael replied and it made Joy confused. Cookie? What cookie? She wasn't talking about cookies.
"Michael, go to sleep," Joy was trying to hold her laughter. Michael nodded slowly.
"Can I sleep there?" he asked as he pointed at the couch where Joy was laying. She then nodded fast and was about to stood up from the couch but Michael stopped her. "No no no, sleep here. With me," he said and she couldn't even decide if he's awake or not.
Michael laid down on the couch then pulled Joy by her wrist and made her lay down beside him on the couch. The couch wasn't that big but enough for both of them.
"Micha-" Joy said but got cut when Michael wrapped his arms and legs around her body and put his head on her shoulder. He was fast asleep and Joy was actually felt embarrassed with what's happening. She stared at the ceiling and suddenly her smile was uncontrolled and she covered her face with her hands. Joy then looked at Michael but all she could see was his hair. He moved suddenly and Joy's heart was racing. Her face was still red and she wasn't ready to let Michael see that. But it turned out that Michael was actually adjusting his position and moved his face closer to the crook of her neck. His eyes were still shut and Joy could feel his steady breathing on her skin. He hugged her like she's a fluffy teddy bear and that happened several times.
The warmth Michael gave made her comfortable and made her eyes grew heavier and heavier until finally she fell asleep in his arms.

Grace opened her eyes and saw Sylvia was still sleeping beside her and Nathalie was still laying on her bed sleeping but she didn't find Joy.
She stood up then went to the bathroom to wash her face. She walked to the sink and started washing her face letting the cold water woke her up. She dried her face with her towel then looked at her reflection in the mirror but then gasped and turned around immediately. But she found nothing. She looked at the mirror again, afraid at first, and for the second time, she saw nothing. She's alone. But why did she saw someone's reflection behind her on the mirror after she dried her face? She shut her eyes hard then opened it hoping she saw it again but she didn't. She knew what she saw and she saw someone, standing behind her and smiling at her through the mirror.
