A short update with a big announcement at the end.
Phil's POV
Song recommendation: What you Want by: Two Door Cinema Club.
I knew running into the flames I wouldn't escape without a few burns. That risk was one I was willing to take. Smoke burned my lungs when I inhaled and the fire grew when I exhaled. I grabbed two of my friends I had been living with and dragged them towards the end of the hallway.
Firefighters rushed in and grabbed them, hoisting them out. People grabbed me and began to pull me away but I rasped. "More in there!" I staggered back towards the fire and tripped on a fallen piece of wood. My head slammed into the wall and I fell straight forwards, face first. The tall man picked me up and dragged me out of the walls of fire.
I was placed on a cot and instantly Dan was by my side, he asked me how I was and he squeezed my hand gently. I stared up into his brown eyes as I was laid in the ambulance. "I'm tired." I said absentmindedly.
The man up front shouted something and Dan shouted at me. My head pounded as I c l o s e d m y e y e s.

I woke up to the beeping of a machine. My eyes opened slowly and I took in my surroundings. A nurse in the corner and a brown haired boy asleep in a chair. "Excuse me?" I cleared my cracking throat. The nurse whipped around and stared at me with wide eyes. "Your awake!" She gasped.
I nodded slowly. She shook the boy in the chair wildly and he flung himself up. He looked around and our eyes met. His mouth dropped open and he released some sorta half sob half scream.
"Phil!" He exclaimed. In an instant he was by my side, crying into my chest. I put a hand on his back and comforted the strange boy. "I don't mean to like bother you but..." I pause and he pulls away, wiping tears from his eyes.
"Who is Phil?"
