Their First Fight

Percy's POV
"Annabeth, can I tell you something? I'm going to be completely honest and I want you to let me finish and try to see it from my point of view." I said to my charming girlfriend, who was at my house with me doing "homework".
"Perce, you know you can tell me anything." She replied and smiled.
"Well, remember when we went out with Matt a week or so ago?"
"Yeah, it was so much fun! Do you want to do that again? Gods I was worried there for a bit."
"Actually, no. I would never like to do that again."
"Why not?"
"He was spending the whole time flirting with you and looking at you like you were a bottle of water and he hasn't drank in a week."
"Percy, you're being ridiculous."
"Annie, do you even remember me and him having a conversation? The whole time he was infatuated by you!"
"Jealous? One guy makes me feel like a pretty girl, and you go act like I'm about to run off and cheat on you!"
"Annabeth, I trust you more than anyone or anything, except maybe my mom. I just don't trust him."
"Trust me that I'd never do anything to hurt our relationship. It's so important to me."
"What can you do to stop hurting me and our relationship when you can't even realize when someone is flirting with you?"
"Percy, this isn't like you. You've never been like this with me."
"Never been what, honest? Then allow me to correct that error."
"Don't be a jerk. Don't insult my perception."
"It's not my fault if you get a kick out of guys flirting with you or if you just don't realize it."
"Percy, I don't want to fight. Please. We were having such a nice time."
"You know what? We need to talk this through. You're just running away from your problems, like you do with your dad."
"Now you've crossed the line. You do not get to talk about my relationship with my father like that. Screw this. I don't have to take this. I'm leaving."
"Who's stopping you? Go run off into Matt's arms."
"I thought you were different, Percy. But you're just like every other guy." Annabeth said before storming out of the house, the anger radiating off her.

In all honesty, he should've shut up when he saw her getting offended. Percy knew how her pride would rile her up, and how her relationship with her father would just break her. It wasn't her fault and he knew that. Percy just had felt a rage that he'd never experienced before. He wanted to hurt her, badly. Percy just wanted to apologize, make things better, and just trust her. He just got really petty, and thought that Annabeth would realize how much better she deserves and go for someone more her level. But of course, he's managed to screw it up, like he tended on doing with everything he cares about.

Piper's POV
When she finished her homework and watched her shows, Piper began getting ready for bed. After laying down in her pajamas, she started drifting away to sleep, only to wake right back up by the sound of her phone blaring Annabeth's ringtone. Piper grew concerned and quickly answered.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Percy and I had a.... a fight and it- it was our first- and now I can't-" Annabeth began before breaking up and Piper strongly believed that she heard crying. Piper was stunned. Never in her life had she ever thought Annabeth would cry.
"Wanna come over for a sleepover? Have a girl's night and guy bashing?"
"Yeah."

Author's Note
Hey guys...... 😁  It's been a while... And I love how I said I'd update frequently. Whoops. To be perfectly frank (hehe), because that's what you guys deserve, I lost the inspiration to write this story and I just was gonna leave it. And then I forgot about it. And now I went on Wattpad, reread my story, and came up with so many ideas. I'm so excited to finish this book. I can't guarantee a weekly update, but I'll try. I need to focus on school. I'm on a scholarship, and my family can't really afford to pay for my school without it, and I have certain criteria. I have to have at like a 94 overall average and above an 89 in each subject. Currently, I have an 81 in biology because my teacher didn't give me the homework, so she gave me a zero and it's this whole big mess. My mom is livid, so I need to improve. I will try to make this story a priority though. I hope you guys aren't too mad. :) Thank you for 50 K! That's amazing!! You guys are amazing!  I'm so grateful for all the support and comments. I read them all today and I answered a couple. They were great. And please don't refer to me as the author, that sounded so formal and I forgot it was about me.
