*Emma's POV*
I pulled my hoodie sleeves further over my hands and sighed as I walked to class. I walked into the English classroom and of fucking course there's no one else in here. "Emma? Honey? Are you alright?" Regina asked as I walked to my desk. I nodded and she scrunched up her nose. "Why are you wearing a hoodie? It's not that cold outside.." I looked away and she got up and closed the door. "Honey, you came 45 minutes early." She said. I bit my lip and she came and sat in the desk beside me. "Emma. Please tell me what's wrong." She said and laid her hand on my thigh. I looked into her eyes and felt my own tears. "I... I.. I did it." I sobbed out. "D-did what, my love?" She asked. I couldn't stop my tears as her face twisted in understanding. "Oh, my love." She said and pulled me into her arms. She held me tight and rubbed my back soothingly. "I'm so sorry." I cried. "Sweetheart? Why'd you do it." I closed my eyes and tried to calm down. "Everyone hates me. And I don't want to be sent away. I'm terrified no one will ever want me." I managed to sob out. "Oh, my love, you're so so wrong. You're not going to be sent away again. You're here this time to stay. And I want you. Okay?" She said. I smiled weakly and nodded against her chest. She placed a kiss on my forehead and I smiled. We've been dating for almost two years now. I'm a senior and our anniversary is my birthday. Which is December 12th. So, I'll be 18 in 11 days. "Do you regret being with me?" I asked in a shaky tone. "Emma. No. Of course not. Honey, I love you. More than you'll ever know. I do not regret being with you. I never will. Even if it ends in heartbreak." She said. I looked up at her and into her eyes. "You... L-love me?" I asked. That's the first time she's said it. She smiled. "I do." She said. I looked at her lips and leaned in, kissing her lightly. After a few minutes, I pulled away. "I love you too." I said, quietly. She smiled and cupped my cheek in her hand. "Why don't you go home? I think you need the rest, my love." She said. I sighed. "I would. But Mary Margret stayed at home today so, I'm screwed." I said. She smiled. "Dear, you can go to my house. I'll be there after school." She said. I smiled weakly and nodded. She had given me a key a while back. "I'll see you later. Okay?" She said. I nodded and she kissed me again. I smiled and stood up to leave. As I was grabbing the doorknob, she said my name. I looked at her and she smiled. "I love you." She said, quietly. I nodded and smiled. "I love you too." I said, then opened the door. I left her room and walked down the crowded hallway. Regina doesn't live far from the school. I walked out of the school and went to my car. I got in and as I turned it on, someone jumped in the passenger seat. "Where are we headed?" She asked. I sighed, seeing Lacey, my best friend. "I'm going home." I said. She raised an eyebrow. "Without me and Ruby?" She asked, referring to her girlfriend, my 2nd best friend. "Yeah." I said. She furrowed her eyebrows. "Well, do you want us to come over after school?" She asked. I shook my head. "We can hang out tomorrow." I said. She sighed. "No. Ruby has orientation and tours on Sunday. I'm going with her. We'll be gone all week next week." She said. Winter break starts after today. Ruby's going to the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. "Then.. We'll hang out after you get back. We have all of December off. And the first week of January. We'll hang out." I said. She nodded and got out of my car. I sighed and drove out of the parking lot. I drove for about 10 minutes, then pulled up at Regina's house. 108 Mifflin Street. I parked my yellow beetle in her garage, then went in. I locked the door and set my book bag down by the door. I took my shoes off, then went upstairs. I went to her bedroom and laid down in the bed. I turned her tv on and put it on Netflix. I started my favorite movie, Cyberbully and got out my phone. First, I went to my Facebook. I sighed, seeing all the insults and names people are calling me. Bitch. Slut. Whore. Faggot. Freakshow. Pathetic. Loser. Ugly. Worthless. Useless.
I promised Regina I'd tell her if things got worse. But, I just can't. What if she believed them and left me? I would hate myself. I can't lose her. I went to twitter and Instagram but they were both filled with the same things. I felt my tears building in my eyes and I buried myself in the blankets on Regina's bed. Why does everyone hate me so much? What did I ever do to any of them? I pushed up my hoodie sleeves and looked at the deep cuts littering my wrists and forearms. My tears fell harder and I took my hoodie off. I stared at them for what felt like decades. I deserve it. I don't deserve Regina. She doesn't deserve a stupid, worthless teenager who always needs reassurance. She deserves so much more than me. I'm so fucked up. I fell asleep with my thoughts and tears streaming from my eyes. When I woke up, I was wrapped in someone else's arms. I  breathed in her scent and felt better. She smells like cinnamon apples. Almost always. It's amazing. She's running her hand through my hair soothingly and I'm pressed against her body. "What time is it?" I asked, groggily. "2:15." She said. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you doing home?" I mumbled. "I left early. All I had left was planning. Principal Fisher didn't mind. It's okay." She said. I nodded and finally opened my eyes. Then, I realized I had taken my hoodie off and my eyes went wide. "D-did you see them?" I stuttered. "Yes." She said, quietly. "I'm so sorry." I said and felt my tears building again. "Emma. Honey, why didn't you tell me how bad things had gotten?" She asked and continued running her fingers through my hair. "I was scared you'd believe it all. I was scared to lose you. You don't need my stupid shit in your life. I-" "Emma Swan. Stop talking right now." She said, cutting me off. I sighed. "Look at me." She said. I looked up at her and she had a stern look on her face. "Emma, I know you better than anyone else. You are not a slut or a whore. You are not a bitch. You're none of the shit they're saying. You are wonderfully, perfectly, you. And that's what I love so much. You're different than them. Not because of what they say. You're different because you're so much more mature than them. In my 28 years of life, I have never met someone more perfect. You're so so amazing Emma. I'm not ever leaving you. I love you, for crying out loud." She said. I smiled and nodded. "I love you too." I said. She smiled and kissed me lightly. "Now. What did you tell Mary Margret so you could stay here most of break?" She asked. I smiled. "I told her I was going with Lacey and Ruby to California." I said. She laughed. "And she didn't ask any questions?" She said. I smiled. "Nope." I said. She chuckled. "Well, soon enough you'll be 18 and not have to worry about it." She said. I smiled and nodded, then heard my phone go off. "It's a text from Mary Margret." She said. "You can just check it." I said. She nodded and her eyes went wide as she looked at my phone. "Fucking shit." She mumbled. "What?" I asked. "It says: I know you left school early. I know you're not with Lacey and Ruby. I know you're with Regina." She said. My eyes went wide and I grabbed my phone. I quickly called her. "Hey Emma." "I-I can explain." "Don't worry about it. I don't need explanations. You can make your own choices. As long as you're happy. Who am I to stand in the way?" "Really?" "Yeah. Emma.. I know you might think otherwise, but you're not subtle. And when I talked to Ruby and she said it had been almost two years, I was a little surprised because like I said. You're not subtle. But, I'm happy for you. So, stay as long as you wish." "T-thanks Mary Margret." "When are you just going to call me mom?" "Thanks mom." "I love you Emma." "Yeah. You too." I said and hung up. "S-she was totally okay with it. She told me to stay as long as I wanted." I said. Regina's eyes went wide. "R-really?" She asked. I nodded. She smiled and took my phone, then put it on the nightstand. "I believe that calls for some celebration." She said and pulled me on top of her. I smirked and nodded as she started kissing me.

"Do you want to get dinner? It's almost 6." She said, holding my naked body to hers. I smiled. "I don't care. I just like being with you." I said. She smiled and kissed my forehead. "You're just with me for the sex." She said. I smiled. "You caught me." I said. She chuckled. "Really though. I wish we could always be this close." I said. "I know honey. While you're here, we can be." She said. I smiled. "I love you." I said. She nodded. "I love you too." She said. "Hey Em? Can I ask you something?" She asked. I smiled. "Sure." I said. "What are you doing after graduation?" She asked. I sighed. "I don't really want to go. I hate school, so what's the point of torturing myself for 4 more years." I said. "Okay." She said. "What are you doing after graduation?" I asked. "Well, you most likely." She said. I snorted a laugh and she kissed me, lightly. "But really, I uh.. I accepted a job in New York and I want you to come with me." She said. I smiled again. "Okay." I said. "Okay? Really?" she said. I nodded. "Of course I'll come with you Regina. I love you. I want to be with you. And, this is the perfect way." I said. She smiled and nodded. She kissed me again and I couldn't help but smile.

"Momma!" Henry shouted. I smiled and ran upstairs. "What's up bud?" I asked our 4 year old son. We got married, pretty much right after we moved here, then adopted Henry. We've been living in New York for 2 years now. I've been taking college classes online and Regina's teaching at a private school. I'm a stay at home mom until Henry can go to school, then I'm going to try and talk Regina into letting me get a job. "Where's mommy?" He asked. I smiled. "Mommy had to go to work for a little while. She'll be back soon." I said. He sighed. "But it's Saturdayyy. Mommy promised we'd go to the park." He whined. I smiled. "We will kid. Mommy will be home soon and we'll go. Okay? We'll even take you out to dinner tonight. Sound good?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. I smiled and left his bedroom, then went back to the dining room, where I was working on some classwork. I sat down and continued working until I heard the door open and the clicking of heels on the hardwood floor. After a few minutes, Regina sat down beside me. I smiled. "Hello, my love." I said, then finished what I was working on. I closed my laptop and looked up at her. She smiled brightly and I furrowed my eyebrows. "I got a raise." She said. I smiled. "That's awesome baby." I said. She nodded. "Honey, it's $50,000 more every year." She said. My eyes went wide. "Holy shit. Babe! That's.. That's $89,000 a year!" I said. She nodded and kissed me excitedly. I smiled into it. "now. Let's go take our son to the park." She said. I smiled and nodded as she went upstairs. I made it.
