"Hi, i'm Regina. I've never really made a youtube video before but i wanted to start. My friends all told me i should, so here i am." i cringed as i watched my first video ever. i started my youtube channel a few years ago. i was 18. it was a little bit before i got pregnant with my beautiful daughter Hope. her father was abusive and cheated on me all the time. she's four now, and i'm 23. "mommy?" Hope said as she pulled herself up onto my lap. i giggled. "hi baby." i said and she smiled. "hi." she said and i kissed her nose. "what you doin?" she asked and i hummed. "i'm watching something.." i said and she nodded. "can i watch?" she asked and i smiled. "how about... we go get ice cream instead?" i asked and she nodded excitedly. i set her down and stood up. i was wearing leggings and a baggy sweatshirt. my long brown hair's in a side braid. i put my shoes on and she held her arms up. i smiled as i picked her up and i left my room, holding her close.

we walked into the ice cream shop and i went to the line, ordering two chocolate cups, then i put gummy bears in one. i left the other plain and hope picked a table. i set the ice cream down and handed her a spoon. "thanks mommy!" she shouted and i smiled. "you're welcome my love." i said and she started eating it immediately. i started eating mine but before i could eat a second bite, a beautiful blonde walked over. "hi.. i'm emma. i uh.. i know you don't know me or anything but i watch your videos and i love you and hope.." she said and i smiled brightly. hope was oblivious. "that's so sweet.. would you.. would you like to join us?" i asked and she smiled and nodded. she went and got her ice cream, then she came and sat beside me. i smiled. "so you watch my videos?" i asked and she nodded. "yeah i have since the beginning." she said and i blushed. "its so cool to meet you." i said and she blushed. i couldn't help but smile. she was so sweet.

i smiled as i watched the first video emma and i made together. it was three months after we first met. it was when she was announcing to her channel that i was her girlfriend. i remember her saying in the video "who knows, maybe we're meant to be". she said it as a joke, but i know now it's true. we have a long distance relationship. she lives in Maine and i live in california. it's hard. but we make it work. we visit all the time. "mommy?" hope asked as she came in. i hummed as i picked her up. "yes?" i asked and she nuzzled against me. "when is emmy coming back?" she asked and i held her tight. "soon i hope." i said and she nodded. my phone buzzed and i pulled it out of my pocket. i smiled seeing a text from emma.
i miss you and hope, xo
i smiled before responding that we missed her too. we've only been dating about six months. but i don't care. i love her so much. and she truly loves me. i can tell. she hasn't said it, but she shows it. she's so kind and loving. not only to me, but to hope.

i sighed as i pulled up to my favorite restaurant. hope and i are having a nice dinner because emma was supposed to come visit to celebrate our anniversary but she canceled last minute. so, since i already had reservations, i brought hope. i got out of the car and got hope out, then went in. a waitress led us to a table. i smiled as she and hope talked.

"mommy, do you love emmy?" hope asked and i nodded. "so much baby girl." i said softly. "well good because this could've been really awkward..." emma said and i looked up, gasping a little. "i-i thought you couldn't come?" i asked and she smiled. "i wanted to surprise you." she said and i nodded. "you did." i said and she chuckled. then i noticed my parents and older sister Zelena were with her, along with her parents, her younger brother Neal and her older sister Kat and her husband Fred. "wait what's going on?" i asked confused and she bit her lip. she came over and kneeled beside hope. i watched. "Hope baby.. i love you and your mommy very much... would it be okay if i became your momma?" emma asked her and i teared up as she pulled out a little ring. hope nodded excitedly. emma smiled and kissed her head after sliding the ring on her right ring finger. "good." she said and turned to me. "now...Regina Maria Mills... i never thought i could love someone and be loved the way you love me. you and hope showed me what it was like to be loved wholly and truly. you didn't care that i was intersexual. you accepted me and still wanted to be with me. you are my best friend and i can't imagine anyone more perfect to spend the rest of my life with... so.. will you please give me the honor of having you as my wife?" she asked, tears in her eyes. i covered my mouth with my hands as tears rolled down my cheeks and as she pulled out a beautiful diamond ring. i couldn't say anything. i just nodded. a tear rolled down her cheek as she smiled brightly and she gently grabbed my hand, then slid the ring on my left ring finger. i immediately pulled her up into a deep kiss. our families cheered and i smiled against her lips. we pulled away for air and i leaned my forehead on hers. "i love you so much." i said and she smiled. "i love you more."
