"You ready?"

I nodded my head tentatively at Romeo as we stepped cautiously out of the polished black limousine. Cameras flashed as Victoria led us into the Burberry HQ, her head hanging low and covering her face with her Gucci handbag.

"Who is she?" I heard many voices ask, staring at me. I looked at them through my Prada sunglasses, trying to shield myself from the huge crowd that was gathering more people by the second. Security guards were at the glass door, ushering photographers and spectators away and locked the door behind us with a bang.

"Well that was tough," Victoria said breathlessly, taking off her sunglasses. "Hopefully that wasn't too much to handle, Jayde. This is what it's like to be famous." Victoria gave a small smile, which is extremely rare considering the fact that her face always has a straight expression. She led Romeo and I down the long hallway, where pictures of Romeo and Cara Delevingne hanging on the walls. It seemed like an age when Victoria suddenly stopped in front of a room titled 'Makeup/Dress'. she turned on her heel to face Romeo and I.

"Have fun! Romeo, you know the drill. Can you take Jayde to meet Ronnie?" Victoria questioned, placing her hand on Romeo's shoulder, crouching down to his eye level. "As for you Jayde, have fun! It's going to be your first ever professional shoot, so make the most of it." She embraced me in a tight hug. "Ronnie will call me when you're close to finishing, so I can come and pick you up. See you later, you two!" Victoria blew us one last kiss before teetering on her high heels down the long hallway, ready to face the paparazzi again.

Romeo knocked three times on the white door, waiting for a minute before someone came out, poking their head around the door.

"Oh, Romeo! How nice to see you again!" a tall brunette lady, possibly in her 20s exclaimed, kissing him on both cheeks. She looked across to me, a large smile on her face, bowing her head. "You must be Jayde? I'm Shayla. I'm Romeo's closet manager. So nice to meet you!" She extended her long arm, her hand out, her bright pink nails flashing.

"Nice to meet you, Shayla," I said, giving her hand a small shake. Romeo was playing with his fingers, like he needed to say something but forgot what he needed to say.

"What do you want, Romeo?" Shayla asked, in a calm voice. Romeo still stood there, as if he had forgotten what to say. Suddenly his face lit up and nodded his head.

"Mum said that she wants Jayde to meet Ronnie. Could you get Ronnie for us?"

"Sure!" Shayla replied, her face instantly pulled up into a huge smile. "Why don't you both come inside, you must be cold out there!" she said, leading us into the room.

I stared at the room gaping. There were several models sitting at mirrors, a stylist doing their makeup and checking on their hair. The room was the size of the bottom floor of my house in Sydney, and consider that there are about 50 rooms in total in the whole of the HQ. Shayla looked at me, laughing.

"Oh yes, Burberry is huge," she said, emphasising huge. "Oh Ronnie!"

Shayla, her high heels click-clacking across the floor, ran to hug the man. He looked in his 40s, his brunette hair slicked back with styling gel, his round glasses carefully balanced on the bridge of his pointy nose. He wore a smart black Armani suit with polished leather shoes. He gave us a friendly smile.

"Romeo, I haven't seen you for long!" Ronnie shouted, a bit over enthusiastic. He gave Romeo a bear hug, patting his back. "And you must be Jayde! Oh, how wonderful to see you!"

Ronnie gave me a small kiss on both cheeks. He seemed quite creepy- his smile was a bit too friendly for my liking. Don't be rude Jayde, don't be rude, I told myself. Even though Ronnie was absurd, I  had to at least make an effort to be polite.

"Um, nice to meet you too, uh, Ronnie." I flashed a small smile, before beginning to twiddle my fingers. Ronnie seemed to notice my nervousness, because he instantly spoke up.

"Oh Jayde, Jayde, Jayde, nothing to be nervous about. You'll fit right in here, right Romeo?"

Romeo gave me a shy smile, before looking down at his feet again.

"Yeah, sure."
