Ro cleared his throat and bowed. "Then do you want me to carry her up to your room so that you can go talk to your father, Your Majesty?" he asked and stood, raising an eyebrow in question. "Or is Kat not comfortable with that?"

"Why are you calling "Your Majesty" every so often now, Ronan?" Brody asked, and I had to bite back a small smirk when I heard the annoyance in his voice. "Brody is still fine and is what I want you to call me instead of that. Please, don't call me anything else other than that." 'What do you want to do, Love?' he asked. 'Do you want me to carry you to the room, or do you want Ro to carry me up to the room?'

'You,' I replied. 'I still don't want to be touched by anyone else, at the moment.' I closed my eyes tighter together and pressed my lips into a thin line.

"You are acting as if you are the King, Your Majesty," Ro said and bowed while he bit back a small smirk. "Even though we all know who the mastermind is and are pulling at the strings to make sure that everything works accordingly." He looked at me when he said that before he looked at my mate a second time.

"I am the king," Brody muttered under his breath, and my heart grew warm and became filled with pride. "I am not acting like it." He cleared his throat and stood taller. "I will take her to our room before I talk with my dad. After that, I will relieve you two from Kat duty so that you can do what you want to do within reason."

'Tell Ro that he will have to contact his second to give them a heads up on where he is and what he is doing. He can do that over the phone or go there and come back.'

'He is not going to leave Ray; I don't think,' Brody said and subtly nodded. 'He can use my office, though, if he wants to make a call.' "You are going to have to contact your second when I am back and give them a heads up on where you are and what you are doing. You can make a phone call in my office after I am done with my father or you can leave and then come back after you are done."

"I will make a phone call," Ro said and nodded. "I am not leaving Ray, and I know damn well that Ray doesn't want to leave Kat." He looked at his sister before he looked at us.

"Then a call will suffice," Brody said and nodded. "Do you remember where my office is?"

"Yes, Your Majesty," Ro said and nodded, and Brody rolled his eyes and scowled. Ro bit back a small snort, and a look of amusement flashed through his eye. "Do you want me to call you Young Alpha too like Stephen and his friend?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

"Again Brody will be just fine," he said sarcastically, earning a small smirk from Ro. "But come on, let's get everyone settled and then let me talk to my dad. We will have a bigger discussion tomorrow or later when Kat is awake."

"Her mother does want to talk to her later on today when she is awake," Carver said, and I couldn't help but grow stiff in my mate's arms. "I do suggest having this conversation with her." He looked at me when he said that.

"Will she be having this conversation in private?" Brody asked and grabbed me tighter, growing nervous. "Or can I come into the room, too?" He looked at my mother. "If that is ok with you, of course."

"You may go with her in that room," Carver said and nodded, "and so will I, Your Grace." He looked at my mother when he said that.

My mother snorted and rolled her eyes. She said something to him that we couldn't hear, and I couldn't help but feel left out, even though I had this small feeling that it was the adults that could understand her now.

What did she sound like now after so many years apart..?

I couldn't remember my mother's voice or my father's, and it pained me, especially since my mother was still alive and still here even without her voice.

Maybe I could hear it again one day even if it would only be through our mindlink and not out loud...

"Then it is settled, once she is awake, then you two can talk in the office, Your Grace," Brody said and nodded. "Let's go ahead and get everyone settled into the pack house. If you want to live in a smaller packhouse then we can find something for you all."

"Her Grace will be anywhere Kat is living," Carver said and cleared his throat to hide a chuckle. "She is used to the bustling of a big place and has missed it."

Brody nodded. "Just let us know," he said and offered them a tight smile. "We want you to be as comfortable as possible."

"I will stay wherever our queens stay," Aunt Diane said, with her voice barely above a whisper. "It might take us some time to get used to, but we will stay here."

Brody didn't say a word and nodded. He looked at Amity to see what she had to say, knowing full well that Uncle Peter will stay with Aunt Diane and go wherever she goes.

Amity didn't say a word and stared at my back. Her whole body was tense, and she was nervous about staying in a pack full of wolves, especially since she was the cause of some of their pain and suffering.

But she didn't want to live somewhere without me...

'Amity wants to be placed somewhere else but doesn't want to leave me behind,' I said. 'She will live wherever I live, but I don't think living here will be good for her or her mental health.'

'We will talk more about that later,' Brody said and mentally nodded. 'I do have a surprise for you and hope that you will like it.' "Then come on, let's go." He started to walk to the door and was followed by the group. "My dad will open it when we are close so you all don't have to worry about that."

'And what is this surprise?' I asked and mentally raised an eyebrow in question. 'Am I going to hate it?'

My mate chuckled softly and mentally shook his head. 'I hope not,' he said and tapped my arm with his thumb. 'I would be upset if you hated it.' He leaned down a bit and pressed a small kiss to the side of my head. 'We will talk about it once you are actually awake and not pretending to be asleep.'

I grumbled something under my breath, earning a small snort from the male that had me in his arms. 'I don't like this, Brody,' I said, earning a small chuckle from him.

'I know, but I want to surprise you with this and will surprise you with it later. For now, let's take care of everyone else and yourself before we do.'

You have my word.
