Chapter 7 ~ Things Are Gonna Change

Harry's Pov

Laura got a call from Ana. And after she talked to her she was shaking. Like really bad. I went over and wrapped my arms around her. She just sat there staring off into space, lifelessly. Li said, "Is she okay?" 

"I'm not sure. She won't stop shaking and I'm getting worried." "She told me she is nervous about when she has the baby." 

"Nervous? About what?" "She feels like Darcy is going to feel left out." 

"Li. That wouldn't happen." Darcy crawled up in my lap and said, "Dada. I tired." 

"Li will you put her down for a nap?" "Yeah." 

He picked her up and took her upstairs. Laura still hadn't snapped out of her little trance she's in. But she wasn't shaking as badly. 

"Babe. Snap out of it." She still didn't budge. I'm worried about her. This has never happened to her before. Li came back downstairs and said, "Darcy's asleep." 

"Thanks Li." "Did you get Laura out of her trance yet?" 

"No. I'm worried about her." "It's probably just the shock of being pregnant." 

"Yeah. Probably." Then Niall came bursting through the door. 

"Ni! What are you doing here?" "Michelle broke up with me." 

"Nialler." I went over to him and hugged him. 

"Nialler. I know it hurts." Laura must have snapped out of her trance because she came over and hugged Niall. 

"You okay Niall?" He shook his head and started crying into her shoulder. She brought him over to the couch and rubbed his back. I feel bad for the poor lad. I know heartbreak is tough. He cried for a good hour. After he calmed down, Laura said, "How about you lads take Nialler out for a guys night?" 

"Babe. I don't wanna leave you by yourself with Darcy." "I will get Ana and we will go hang at the hospital with Perrie and William." 

Li said, "Actually that sounds quite fun." "Exactly. So call up the rest of the lads and the girls will all go hang out at the hospital." 

Ni said, "Yeah that's just what I need." I said, "This should be fun." 

Laura kissed my cheek and said, "I love you Haz." "I love you too baby." 

Ni said, "Little soon for that." "Sorry Nialler." 

Then I heard Darcy start crying. Ni said, "I'll get her." He ran up the stairs and the crying instantly stopped. He brought her downstairs. Darcy said, "Uncle Niaww here." 

"Yes he is sweetie." "Where uncle Niaww's girlfwend?" 

Laura said, "Pumkin. Uncle Niall is no longer with her. They are not together anymore." "Dawcy make Uncle Niaww better." 

"You do that sweetie." She grabbed onto his neck and kissed his cheeks. Aw. I took a picture and put it on twitter. Laura's phone dinged and she bursted out laughing. I guess she saw the tweet. Niall set Darcy down and she walked over to Laura. Laura picked her up and kissed her cheek. I pulled out my phone and called Lou.

L-Hello?
H-Hey. We are having a guys night and we want you to come.
L-Why are we having a random guys night?
H-I will tell you later.
L-Tell me now.
H-Niall's GF broke up with him.
L-Definitely calls for a guys night.
H-We will text you the deats.
L-Alright

I hung up the phone. Li said, "Is that a yes from Lou?" "Yep!"

"I called Zayn and he's cool with it." "That's surprising. I didn't wanna be away from Darcy at all when she was first born." 

"Well you're a helicopter dad. Well you were anyways." I rolled my eyes. 

Laura said, "It's true babe. You were a helicopter dad when Darcy was first born." 

"I was not!" "Yes you were. You wouldn't leave me alone with her. It was like you didn't trust me with the little girl I carried inside me for 9 months." 

"She was my first born. Who knows what you would've done to her if I wasn't watching." "Do you see anything wrong with her?" I shook my head and smiled at her. 

God I love her.

Laura's Pov

Haz is so adorable. I just left Li's flat. Everyone is already over there. I picked up Ana and we went to see Perrie and William. We walked into the hospital and up to Perrie's room. She was feeding William. So cute. 

"Hey Perrie." "Hey y'all." 

Darcy and Leslie ran over to Perrie and looked at William. Darcy said, "Mama. Baby cute." 

"Yes he is cute." "Who's baby?" 

"It's uncle Zayn and aunt Perrie's baby. It's your new cousin." "He my cousin?" 

"Yes pumpkin. His name is William." "William?" 

"Yes sweetie." "Can I hold him?" 

"No sweetie. You are a little too young for it." Leslie said, "Auntie?"

"Yes pumpkin?" "Where is uncle hawwy. He is always wif you." 

"Uncle Harry is with your daddy and uncle Ni and uncle Li and uncle Zayn." "Why isn't he here with you?" 

"They are trying to make Uncle Ni feel better." She nodded and sat on the bed next to Darcy. 

"Perrie. I'll be right back." "Where are you going?" 

"I'm gonna go call Haz." "Can't stay away from him huh?" I rolled my eyes and went in the hallway. I dialed his number and he picked up on the second ring.

H- Hey love.
L-Hey Haz
H-What are ya calling for?
L-I want you back home with me. You just got back this morning and you're out without me.
H-Well this was your idea.
L-Because I wanted to help Nialler feel better.
H-While in the meantime you're sad.
L-I will get you when you get home. So I can wait that long.
H-I love you pumpkin.
L-Love you too Hazzabear.

Then I hung up the phone. I went back in the room and Darcy ran over and wrapped her arms around my leg. 

"Hey Pumpkin." "Where did you go mama?" 

"I had to make a phone call." I picked her up and propped her on my hip. Perrie said, "How much longer are they going to be out?" 

"Not sure. Hopefully not much longer." "Agreed." 

Ana said, "I should get Leslie home. I have to feed her and give her a bath. I will see you guys tomorrow." We exchanged goodbyes and she left with Leslie. Then my phone started ringing. It's Lou. I set Darcy on the bed and answered it.

La-Hello?
Lou-Laura.
La-Lou. What's wrong?
Lou-It's about Haz.
La-What about him?
Lou-Well we were coming back from the bar. Haz was the only one that wasn't too intoxicated to drive because he only had one drink.
La-Lou. What happened to Harry?
Lou-He got hit by a drunk driver.
La- LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON! HOW COULD YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?
Lou-I'm sorry. They're rushing him to the hospital now.
La-The one I'm at?
Lou-Yeah.
La-Who's in the rescue vehicle with him?
Lou-Nialler is.
La-How bad is he?
Lou-Well um.
La-Lou.
Lou-He's unconscious. And unresponsive. And not really moving at all.

I dropped the phone. Perrie said, "Laura. What happened? Are you okay?" Darcy said, "Mama?" Then everything went black.
