Chapter 16 ~ Spending Time with Family in the States

Laura's Pov

*One Month Later*

Well. It's been a month since all of that traumatic stuff with the baby. We're currently on a plane on the way to surprise my mom. Sam is gonna pick us up when we land and then take us to my mom's house.

We've been on the plane for a few hours already and i just want to get off. Haz and Darcy are both sleeping and I'm the only one awake. So of course I'm super bored. A few hours later we had finally landed.

I picked Darcy up and woke up Haz. We got off the plane and got our bags. After we had everything we went to go find Sam. Once I finally spotted him I ran over and jumped in his arms.

"Hey big sister." "I missed you bubba."

"I missed you too." He set me down and picked up Darcy.

"Uncle Sam! Can you believe I'm in America! When can I see Granny Pottorff?" "Well she's at work right now, so why don't we go surprise her."

"Yes!" We went to Sam's car and got in. He started driving to my mom's work and honestly I was getting more nervous by the second.

Haz looked back at me and grabbed my hand. "Stop stressing. Everything is gonna be fine." I just nodded and forced a smile.

Once we got to the office I took Darcy out of the car and we all went in. We went up to my mom's office and walked in.

"Sam. I told you that you can't come visit everyday." Then she looked up from her paperwork and saw me.

"Aw my sweet baby girl." She ran over and hugged me.

"Hi mama." "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

"I wanted to surprise you." She hugged Haz and took Darcy from me.

"This is such a nice surprise sweetie. I've really missed you guys." "We've missed you too mama."

We talked with her in her office for a little while but soon she had a meeting so we had to go. We went to Sam's house and of course, all the o2l guys were there. I greeted all of them and then went up to Sam's room.

Haz followed me upstairs and closed the door behind him. He sat next to me and said, "Is everything okay?"

"There's just a lot happening." "Didn't you enjoy seeing your mom?"

I nodded. "So what's stressing you out?"

"I just miss him." "I do too. But we have to be strong."

"All I wanted was to give you your little man." "And you will one day baby girl. We just have to keep trying."

"But what if this happens again?" "Laura. Just calm down. It's gonna be okay."

He pulled me in his arms and rubbed my back. "I can't go through that again Harry. I really can't." "I know baby. And I wish I could be 100% positive that you won't have to. But I can't. That's always a possibility with any pregnancy. But if we don't try, you'll never know what kind of beautiful little boy we could have."

"We can try again. But if i lose another baby, I'm done. Losing this one was hard enough." "I get that baby."

He just held me until i was able to get calm enough to go back down with the guys. Once I was calm, we went back downstairs and saw the guys playing with Darcy.

Sam said, "Can we all go swimming? Please Laura." "Sure Sam. Just make sure Darcy has her floaties on."

Sam grabbed Darcy and all the guys ran upstairs. Haz said, "Babe. Are you gonna swim?"

I shook my head. He said, "Would you be mad if I did?"

"Of course not. We're on vacation. Enjoy yourself."

He kissed me and said, "Thank you baby." Then he went upstairs to change.

I went out back and sat on one of the pool chairs. Soon the guys came out and got in the pool with Darcy. I just sat and played on my phone. After a little bit I got a call from Lou.

La- Hey Lou

Lou- Laura. Oh my god! Ana's in labor.

La- Lou. Calm down. You've done this before.

Lou- But you're not here for the labor.

La- That's okay Lou. I'll be home in a week and I'll come see little man then, Okay? Stop stressing. Your little boy is coming into the world

Lou- Laura. I'm scared.

La- Why are you scared?

Lou- What if something goes wrong?

La- Lou. Stop stressing. The more you stress, the more Ana is going to stress. Did you bring Leslie to the hospital?

Lou- She's out in the waiting room with Li.

La- Just try to keep yourself calm, okay? I feel like you're stressing more than you were when Ana was in labor with Leslie

Lou- That's because you and Harry were going through the same thing. So i had you guys here to help me through it.

La- You're gonna be Fine Lou. But you really need to go in there and help Ana through this. It's not easy being alone when this is happening.

Lou- She's sleeping right now. They gave her the epidural. She's only like 5 cm.

La- Okay. Just calm down. Just keep me posted on everything.

Lou- Okay. I'll let you know how everything goes. Just enjoy your time in America.

La- I love you Lou. And send Ana my love.

Lou- I love you too Laura. Thank you for all of this.

Then the line went dead. I sighed and put my phone on the table next to me.

Kian came over to me and said, "What's going on, doll face?"

"Ana is in labor." He sat next to me and said, "Are you okay?"

"I will be. It's just still hard for me to imagine that she's going to get to have her little man and take him home, but I didn't get that chance." "But you will."

"You don't know that." "I have faith that you're gonna give Harry his little man."

"I sure hope so." "Why don't you get in and swim?"

I shook my head. "Why not? We're having so much fun."

"I just don't want to. You guys enjoy yourselves." "Fine."

Then he went back over to the pool. After a few hours Darcy came over to me and said, "Momma. I'm sleepy."

"You can lay with me and take a nap sweet pea." She laid next to me and before i knew it, she was asleep. Soon I got a text from Lou.

My little man has arrived. Michael William Tomlinson. He was 8 lbs, 9 oz. and healthy as can be. I can't wait for you guys to officially meet him. *picture up top*

I'm so excited for you guys! I can't wait to meet him. I'm so proud of both of you!

Soon the guys finally decided to go in. We ordered Chinese for dinner and just hung out the rest of the night.
