Sheva happily made her way upstairs and got in the shower tonight was one of the best nights ever. As she stood in the shower cleaning herself, she daydreamed about the future dates she and Chris would have. A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts.

"Yes?" Sheva asked loud enough so she could be heard.

"Hurry up in there; I need to talk to you once you get out." Jared's voice replied for the bathroom door.

"When did you get here?" Sheva asked her dad.

"Hurry up and I'll tell you." he replied.

"Ok..." Sheva responded. She quickly washed and rinsed herself and her hair then got out. She wrapped a towel around herself and her hair then exited the bathroom, went into her room and got dressed.

Sheva left her room, still drying her hair and made her way downstairs to her dad sitting on the couch.

"Come and sit by me, we need to have a talk." Jared told her once he saw her and patted the spot on the couch next to him. Sheva nervously walked to the couch and sat where her father told her to.

"Do you know what I want to talk about with you?" he asked her calmly. She shook her head no and stopped drying her hair.

"Well, this might give you a hint. I was here when Chris brought you back home and heard every word you guys said."

"Is this about him calling me babe?" Sheva questioned with a sigh.

"That's right. I don't like him calling you babe; you guys are too young and early in a relationship for that." He slightly scolded her.

"Really dad? It's just a nickname." She told him slightly annoyed.

"I didn't call your mom that until we were married." Jared informed her.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Chris shouldn't be calling you that until you guys are married... if you even last that long."

"You probably call Dalila that!" Sheva told him defensively.

"I do and it's because I know I want to marry her!"Jared told her, slightly raising his voice.

"Well what if I want to marry Chris? That gives him the right to call me that if we are doing this YOUR way! You always say you trust me then you give me a chance to prove myself and then you act like I didn't prove myself to be trustworthy, I mean IT'S JUST A STUPID NICKNAME!" Sheva said raising her voice right back at him.
"Enough!" Nadia appeared from the stairs yelling louder then both of them. "All you guys have been doing this whole visit arguing about your" she pointed at Sheva "and Chris' relationship! From now on I don't want to hear a peep from you guys about the relationship for the last full day you're here, Jared." Nadia finished and went back upstairs angrily.

"Tomorrow is your last full day here?" Sheva asked sadly. Jared just nodded his head. Sheva automatically wrapped her arms around her dad and buried her face in his chest.

"I don't want you to go. Can you move here?" Sheva asked quietly.

"Not at the moment baby girl..." Jared told her as he wrapped his arm around her and used his free hand to smooth the wet hair down on her head. They sat like that for a few minutes before Sheva spoke up.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you..." She apologized.

"And I'm sorry for not showing you I trust you." He also apologized.

"Dad?"

"Yes?"

"Can we not argue the rest of the time you are here?" Sheva asked.

"Of course, Sheva."

"Dad?" Sheva asked again.

"Yes?"

"Do you love me?"

"Yes, I love you, baby girl."

"Dad?"

"Yes?" Jared chuckled. This reminded him of when Sheva was four and so curious.

"Can I have twenty dollars and a new phone?" She asked with a small smile on her face.

"No." Jared laughed, as Sheva pretended to pout. She couldn't do the pouty face anymore and laughed along with him then yawned when the laughing died down.

"I think someone needs some sleep." Jared observed. Sheva shook her head no but her body defied her and she yawned again. Jared picked her up and carried her to her room. He laid her down in her bed then pulled the covers up to her chin and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Goodnight baby girl, I will see you tomorrow." Jared told her as he got up to leave.

"Goodnight dad." Sheva said as she slowly drifted off into sleep.
