Ch. 3 Miks POV

Waking up is one of the worst things to do in the mornings especially on the first day of school *sigh* I wish it was still summer but I guess I gotta get up Jake up. Wow I can't believe he starts second grade. He turn seven in August. My mom got pregnant with him the summer I was 10, same summer I ran into Mr. Green eyes. I hate how I don't even know his name.

Funny thing about about him is I kinda told my best friend Cassy that I um sorta kinda lost my virginity to him last summer when I was 16.

I know Cassy's going to ask me about my summer and its not like I can tell her I spent all summer raising my little brother, getting beat by Jerry, and raped every night. Last night was bad, I didn't have my chores done before they got home from work, so he got the screw driver. Just thinking about makes me want to cry.

It took me about half an hour to get showered and dressed for school. Looking in the mirror I saw myself, a five foot three inch,skinny, dirty blonde haired girl. The only thing that stood out about me was my icy blue eyes.

Looking at my schedule:

First- Acc. English 12 ( the closet thing you can get to skipping a class at my school) Mrs. Ranger

Second- Math Mr. Faust ( hmmmm must be new this year)

Third- Science Mr. Anderson

Fourth- Creative writing. Mr. Faust ( damn I thought Ms. Erickson was teaching that this year)

Fifth- History Mrs. Anderson ( yes she's married to Mr. Anderson )

Sixth- Study Hall Mr. Faust ( wow three times in one day)

Seventh- Gym/Health Mr. Tanner ( ugh creeper)

Today was a day one so I packed my gym clothes in my bag and went to wake Jake up and get him ready for school. I walked into his room and woke him up told him to go potty. After I laid out his clothes out I went outside to feed the cats and have my morning smoke. I know it's illegal and bad for your health but it calms me and my mom or Jerry buy them for me.

After I was done smoking I went inside to watch morning cartoons with Jake for about 20 minutes before the bus came to pick us up. We are the first people on the bus so I don't have to worry about someone sitting in my seat.

After a few stops Cassy got on the bus, came running back to me and said "HOLLY SHIIT MIK I FEEL LIKE I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER!!!!!!" And with that she was hugging me, we are both laughing I said "Sorry, but you know how it is, I had to watch Jake and everything."

" I know it's like that bitch thinks that you're his mother," she paused taking a breath, "I mean it's not like you pushed him out!"

I had to laugh at her anger, I'd already gotten over it but she still needed to move on.

When we got to school we went to our lockers which were right next to each other, dropped all our stuff off and walked to breakfast. When we got there we saw our gay friend Skylar saving us seats.

"Oh my god we need to talk!" Were his first words.

"Well hi to you too." I said laughing.

"The new teacher, Mr. Faust is so HOT." He said happily.

"You know he probably likes women and not men." Cassy said teasingly.

Smiling to my self I tuned their bickering out. I was thinking about the new teacher, if Skylar says he's hot he has to be.

I tuned back in when I heard my name.

"What?" I asked

"Let us see your schedule." The said together.

Cassy said, "Ok second, fourth and fifth hour together."

"Second, third and seventh together."

Wow only two classes without my best friends.
