Ch.26

Miks POV

Thankfully the doctor had turned off the ultrasound before he left so that avoided a little of the awkwardness but it was still one of those moments that you think will never happen to you. Here I am in the hospital because of well everything, with my dad who I haven't seen in what feels like a lifetime and my hot teacher who I just realized I'm in love with who has proven if he doesn't love me he at least wants me. Yeah don't think this could get much worse.

After thinking that I knew I had thought it way to soon, deep sigh. I mean don't get me wrong I love my friends but  I don't think I can handle Cassies craziness right now. That's right Mr. Faust walked in fallowed by Cassy, Skylar, Andy and Alex. Wow today just keeps getting better and better, note the sarcasm. 

"I'm sorry to say this, but anyone who's not family has to leave. Mikayla has gone through a lot and needs her rest so you five," the nice nurse said pointing at well everyone who wasn't my family. After a lot of grumbling from Cassy and promises to see me soon, even if it meant sneaking into to my room, the nurse ushered them out fallowing closely behind them. Leaving me alone with my father.

"So..." I said awkeardly. "Do you just want to get this over with or beat around the bush some?"

"Get it over with, start from the begining."

"Ok, well mom said that we were leaving and we went with Jerry and thats night is when the abuse started. I'm not gonna go into detail because I honestly don't want to and I don't think you want to hear it but it's been happening since that night and after awhile he started bringing his friends over too. And I just found out last night that I'm preggnant and I guess the father of my child killed him self last night."

After a few minutes of silence, he didn't say anything and just wrapped in a hug that a dad could be the only one to give. With that hug I broke down and balled my eyes out, something I haven't done in front of anyone for a very very long time. With that hug I knew that everything I had gone through was finally over. With that hug I knew that everything was finally over. With that hug I finally saw the light at the end of the tunel.

"It will be ok, you will always have me. You will always be my baby girl."He just hugged me and kept saying things like that, and honestly that is what I needed right then. Here I am a 17 year old girl and all I wanted was to be wrapped in my dad's arms as he told me everything would be ok. Kind of pathic but shit happens right?

"I love you daddy and I'm so glad that you are here for me."

"Always princess always." He said and then added. "I have to tell you something about Jerry. He is your uncle." Talk about mind blowing news, this just made everything that he did to me so much worse!

"Umm...well that's some news I guess." was all I managed to say.

After that we sat and talked, he told me about his life. He sat on my bed with me and we just talked for what seemed like hours. Honestly it was what I needed it actually seemed like something that a normal father and daughter would do, and trust me I needed some normal.
