Chapter 1

17 YEARS LATER

Sabha looked after Faryal as her own daughter, she never made her feel as if she wasn't her daughter. Adam and Sabha decided not to tell Faryal that they adopted her as they loved her dearly and didn't want her to leave them. Adam and Sabha's children Omar and Anam treating Faryal as their own sibling whom they loved a lot. Anam and Faryal were close, they shared everything together, Their clothes, their room, their makeup and secrets. Omar on the other hand was a fun, caring, protective brother. As Faryal was growing up, she started to resemble a lot like Sabrina. She was beautiful just like her mother, Faryal had the qualities of both Sabrina and Azeem. She was kind and sweet like Sabrina while she was stubborn, determined and popular like Azeem.
Faryal started to get a lot of marriage proposals as soon as she turned 17, Faryal wasn't too keen on marriage as she was only 17 but for her parents she agreed. A very rich business son Mohsin came for Faryal's hand in marriage, Mohsin asked if he could spend some time with Faryal so Adam let them.

"So What are you in to?" Said Mohsin.
"Well I like music, books, clothes, football, what about you?" Asked Faryal.

"Nice and oh wow you like football, do you watch it because you like football or because of the players?" Asked Mohsin.

"Both but mostly because I actually like football I used to play it a lot when I was in primary" said Faryal.

"Oh that's nice and well I love football, I like Photography and I'm always at the gym" said Mohsin.

"Ok, so what's your dream job? Asked Faryal.

"Lawyer you?" Asked Mohsin.

"Doctor" said Faryal. They chatted away and got along very well. Anam came and said, "mum and dad are calling you both". They went into the living room where Mohsin's parents were looking at them. "So Do you accept this rishta?" Asked Mohsin's dad.
"Yes dad" said Moshin. Faryal smiled, Adam asked Faryal, "Are you about with this rishta?".
"Yes dad" said Faryal. Mohsin's parents and Faryal's parents congratulated each other. "Do you mind if we do the engagement right now? As Moshin is going to New York for a month" said Mohsin's dad.
"Umm one minute" said Adam.
He took Sabha and Faryal to the other room and asked them if it was ok with them. Faryal said it was fine and that she didn't mind. They went back into the living room and said, "yes start the engagement". Faryal and Moshin exchanged rings, Mohsin gave Faryal his number and went away. For a whole week they were calling and texting each other constantly when suddenly he stopped texting and calling. A whole month went by and there was no sign of Moshin returned, Adam called Mohsin's parents and asked them what happened? They said that they cancelled the wedding as they have found someone better for Moshin. Faryal was heartbroken, she had started to like Moshin as she was engaged to him. Adam told Faryal to forget about Moshin and concentrate on her education. Faryal finally finished high school and got an offer from New York University. Adam agreed and let Faryal go to New York to fulfil her dreams. As he trusted her and knows that Faryal is mature and responsible. Faryal started packing, she said her goodbyes to her friend and family at the airport and went on the flight to New York. When Faryal arrived she was stunned by the beauty of New York City, it was amazing. She took a taxi to her accommodation(girls hostel), at the reception Faryal asked for her keys, the receptionist told her that she has a roommate. Faryal felt nervous about her roommate, Faryal entered the room and saw a girl sitting on bed. "Hey, I'm Zainab, you're roommate".
"Hi I'm Faryal".
"Nice to meet you Faryal".
"You too".
"So where are you from?" Said Zainab.
I'm from London you?" Replied Faryal.
"I'm from Manchester" said Zainab.
