Breakfast is usually a nice time in the Robert's household, but it wasn't today. Not at all. Today it was filled with drama and yelling. I wasn't used to that, but I was going to have to start getting used to it. My mother and father fought throughout the whole thing and Kevin and I sat there biting our tongues. We didn't want to say anything and get ourselves involved, but that is exactly what happened. "Jesus Christ will you two just shut the fuck up for once?" Kevin yelled at them, stopping their own yelling for momentarily.

"Kevin don't speak to us like that," my mother demanded. "If you don't want to listen to us, tune us out."

"Tune you out?" It was my turn to yell at them. "What the fuck do you mean tune you out? Do you not realize how loud you're yelling? I'm sure all the neighbors can even fucking hear you! All you guys do is fight, constantly, it's hard to tune it out when it's the only thing that can be heard in this house."

"Then leave!" My dad shouted at me, getting in my face. I had never seen my father this rude or scary, so I wasn't used to it. His blue eyes were filled with anger and hatred and I knew he wanted to say something more to me, something harsher, but he kept his mouth shut.

"Don't yell at her," Kevin stood up, pushing his chair back angrily. "If you're going to yell at someone, yell at me. But don't yell at Erin. I know you think we ruined your marriage. You really think we don't hear you guys arguing about that? Having children ruined your "young love", whatever the fuck that means. I was the first kid, you could have stopped after me, but you kept going. I'm glad you did because if I didn't have Erin growing up, who knows how I would have turned out."

I'm not sure why Kevin brought that up, because that was completely irrelevant at this point in time, but I wasn't going to voice my opinion and make this situation even worse. I didn't have time to fight with them anymore, it was getting quite exhausting. "Kevin," My mother started but was cut off by Kevin.

"We're just sick and tired of you guys fighting all the time. You don't even try to make it discrete anymore. You're sitting in front of your children and screaming at each other. Do you really think that doesn't effect us? You must be delusional if you think that."

"Then leave! For the love of Christ, just leave the house!" My dad shouted, making me flinch and making Kevin shake his head in disappointment. Kevin angrily stormed off and stomped up the stairs like a child. He's almost twenty-three and he still acts like he's ten years old in situations like this. I don't blame him though because I stomped away just like he did.

I knocked on his bedroom door and didn't wait for his response before walking into his room, shutting the door behind me. I sat next to him on his king sized bed and sighed. I didn't know exactly what to say. We've never discussed our parents fighting before, we usually just left it and hoped it would go away, but not this time. This time it's different. "Are you okay?"

"No, I'm not okay, E."

"Do you want to leave? Let's go spend the day together. Let's stop by Cate's and get her and go out and do something. We need to get the fuck out of this house for the day." I suggested. I didn't want to be in this house just as much as Kevin didn't, so why not just leave?

"Yeah, alright, let's do that. Go get ready and meet me at Cate's in thirty minutes." I nodded my head silently and left Kevin's room, shutting the door behind me. I walked down the hall to my room and shut the door behind me. I unlocked my phone and read the unread texts I had from the group chat I was in with Calum, Luke, Michael, and Ashton.

Calum: Erin what u doin today?

Michael: We're going fishing u wanna come??????

Michael: Helloooooooo bitch answer our texts
