My father came home for the first time in a week and he looked awful. There were huge bags under his eyes and I'm pretty sure his eyes were stained red from his tears, or maybe it's just the alcohol. I couldn't be too sure. I wasn't sure why he decided to randomly come home today, but I was glad he was here. I wanted to talk to him and apologize for how he found out about my mom cheating on him, but when he saw me he glared at me and shoved right past me, going straight to his office. I felt my heart break a little. My dad and I always have had a great relationship, but now it's ruined, and it's all because of me and my big mouth that I can never seem to keep shut. "Erin," My mother's weak voice yelled out my name from the living room. I stepped off the last step on my staircase and made my way towards her.

"Yes, mother?" I asked, standing directly in front of her.

"We're going to dinner tonight at some fancy place. Kevin invited the Kirker's and Calum and all his friends. We're going in an hour, so go start getting ready," I started walking away but my mother's judgmental voice stopped me. "And please, wear something that covers some of your skin, okay? This place is nice, so wear something nice and appropriate."

I rolled my eyes and made my way upstairs. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair, shaved everything I needed to shave, and washed my face and body. Once I was finished with my daily shower routine, I wrapped a towel around my body and dried my hair off with another one. I ran a brush through my hair and let it air dry, since it looks best that way. I kept my body towel wrapped around my body as I stood in my bathroom and started doing my makeup, singing quietly and swaying my hips along to the music. There was a knock on my bedroom door, stopping my actions momentarily. "Come in!" I called out. I turned down my music a few notches, but still sang along to Good For You by Selena Gomez. This song was my guilty pleasure, if we're being honest here. I wasn't sure who was in my room, because they hadn't showed their face yet, so I sang along louder than I was before. "Gonna wear that dress you like, skin tight, do my hair up, real, real nice, and syncopate my skin to your heart beating,"

I heard a male voice clear their throat and my eyes darted from my reflection in the mirror to the figure standing against my bathroom door frame. Luke. Of course it was Luke. He smiled at me real big, causing me to laugh at his cute face. "Hello Erin," Luke walked all the way in my bathroom and stood behind me, so he was looking at both of our reflections in the mirror.

"Hello Luke," I smiled back at him. "What brings you here?"

"I was in the neighborhood," Luke shrugged, biting back a laugh. I rolled my eyes and leaned over the sink, on my tiptoes, to do my makeup better. I noticed Luke biting his lip and looking my body up and down, and that was when I remembered I was wrapped in nothing but a tiny, white, cotton towel. "I'm just kidding. I just wanted to say hey."

"Well hey," I laughed. "Are you going to this super fancy dinner with us tonight?"

"Yeah," Luke sighed and sat on the sink counter, making himself right at home. "I don't know what to wear though."

"Neither do I,"

"You should just go nude," Luke smirked. I laughed sarcastically and rolled my eyes at him and continued to do my makeup. I closed my concealer and put it back in my makeup back. I rummaged through it and found my liquid eyeliner. Since my mother told me this place was fancy, I was going all out with my makeup. I closed my left eyelid and swiped a line across it, adding a small but perfect wing. I did the same to my right eyelid and looked at myself in the mirror to see if they were even. When I finished making them one hundred percent perfect, I closed the eyeliner and got out my eyelash curler and the two different kinds of mascara I use. I curled my eyelashes and placed it on the sink before starting on my mascara. I let my mouth hang open as I applied my mascara to both of my eyes. I heard Luke laughing and I shot him a look. "What are you laughing at?"
