"Perfection takes time, B" I could barely get out from blushin' so much
"Get off the phone , D. We gotta finish your makeup" My ma said as she snatched my phone.
I gave her the hardest mean mug, like you DONT snatch my phone, or anything from me.
"She'll talk to you when it's time" she said rudely as she hung up on him. Its not that she doesn't like him, she's just flat out rude sometimes, I be forgetting that's my ma sometimes.
The lady cleaned my face with one of those make-up pads and went to work on my face. She began by applying concealer under my eyes, then foundation, eyeliner, lashes, mascara, the whole deal! I knew she was beating my face and I hadn't even seen it yet.
My phone buzzed on the counter, it was a text from Amore,
"You almost ready?"
"Hell nah, I'm not even dressed"
"Hurry up!"
"Perfection takes time" I texted as she turned me around to look in the mirror and I was damn right! She had my face BEAT, yo like... yassss!
It was now time to get into my elegant, sleeveless, burgundy dress with a sweetheart neckline, with my nude pointy flats. ( flats so I could last the night without any shoe troubles) Next I put on my body jewelry and midrings as I sat back down for the lady to loosely curl my hair. I can't wait for Rashaad to see me, I can't wait to see him! His sexy ass, he boutta get some tonight!

" I'm outside" my nerves went out of the roof, what if I wasn't cute enough to match him?! What if I looked a shitty fool?! What if...

"D! Rashaad's here! Come on!" She rudely yelled, she really annoyed me, but I can't let her ruin this night for me.
She took like, a thousand pictures yo, and was rushing me to get ready. She 's the one slowing us down. But I'm lookin at rashaad and he's looking at me and BOOOOY, he's sooo fire, like if faces could be emojis mine would be the heart eyes. He keeps licking and and biting his lips and I already know what's up, his nasty ass.
So Ma is done with pictures and Rashaad walks me to our hummer limo, and once we got inside we were headed to get Amore & Chresanto .
