"KAYLAAA!!!" I screamed out . I heard loud thumps coming towards my room & i came across a small but tall shadow .
"Do I look okay? " I asked , spinning around .
"YAS! You going to go see Chresanto ? "
It's been 5 weeks since I've seen Chresanto . He's been texting me ,
Non-stop .
But I honestly don't wanna be embarrassed like that , again .
He completely dissed me .
"Nah.... I ain't goin' to see Chresanto..".
"Well , why not ? I noticed you been moping around for the past MONTH ." Kayla stated .
"I reaaaaally don't wanna talk about him , Kayla . " I said, flipping my hair .
Just as Kayla was about to say something, she was interrupted .
"AMORE! COME HERE !!" Mommy yelled , from downstairs . I sat up , & brushed off my outfit .
Walking downstairs , I seen my dad in the kitchen , cooking & my mom on her computer on the couch.
"Yeah , mommy? " I said , plopping against her .
"Look . They are KILLING ME to sign you up for a school. I've been trying to see which one is highly appropriate , and it's almost been giving me grey hairs , Oh Dios Mio . " She huffed.
"Uhhhh. I like this one . Do they wear uniform ? " I asked.
"No , this is the one I had in mind . "
I smiled and kissed her cheek lightly.
I grabbed my keys from off the coat hanger & left.
Today was Friday & I didn't have ANYTHING to do. I called Kayla outside and told her to come with me . I felt bad that I haven't been spending time with her since I've been with Chresanto .
She hopped in the car & sat tight as we drove to the mall.
Once we arrived , I immediately felt weird. I felt as if all eyes were on me . Kayla grabbed my hand and immediately started smiling & waving at everyone.
"You know them? " I asked , while my head down .
"No , half of them , but it's respectful to smile , Amore .. " I looked at her , & looked back down .
We walked into Forever 21, Rue 21, Old Navy, Ect.
We stopped at the food court & decided to pick some food. I got Panda Express & Kayla got Burger King.
"Blrvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv...... blrvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv."
I took my phone out my pocket & seen Chresanto calling .
Ignore.
I put my phone in my back pocket & carried my food on the way to the car , just to be approached by . . .
Chresanto .
I sighed and kept walking . He grabbed my arm , and pulled me to the side.
"I just saw you ignore my call , what the hell was that about ?! " He whispered furiously.
"Get off me , Chresanto . " I pushed him away and tried to keep walking but this dude had a killer grip . Kayla was caught up with the crowd and couldn't see me . I didn't want to scream .
I can fight my own battles .
"Chresanto ? You don't ever call me that , man. What the fuck is your problem? You ignoring my phone calls & text messages . TALK TO ME ! " He yelled .
The part of the mall we were in suddenly got quiet & everybody stared at us .
"You're making a scene . Just let me go , damn . " I said , calmly .
I really didn't wanna deal with Chresanto . He dissed me , now wants to play innocent ? No . Forget you . It's just the . . ..
I don't even know .
I got out his grip , while he stood , dumbfounded , filled with questions . I walked away and escaped fast to my car . Pulling out my phone as soon as I got in the car . I dialed Kayla's number and told her to come to the car.
As soon as I got the chance to breathe & put my phone down. Chresanto ran over to my car and begged me to roll down my window .
"What. "
"Amore ... Come on. I miss you . You won't tell me what I di-----.."
He stopped himself and stood for about 15 seconds .
I waited for him to finish , and for Kayla to come to the car .
"Amore . . . Amore I'm sorr--"
"What you sorry for , Chresanto ? " I laughed .
" Amore . . . I didn't know--"
" Didn't know what? Chresanto , I'm not mad. "
"But I--- I slept with her an--"
" We are NOT together . "
"I do NOT care." I laughed , once more & continued to wait for Kayla .
Kayla ran to the car and saw Chresanto at the door dumbfounded .
She got in , strapped her seatbelt and looked at me .
"You alright ? " She asked .
"I never been better. "
I started the car , and pulled off .
I really did like Chresanto. Honestly . I did also think that he liked me too . But to do that to a person , you care about ? It hurts . A lot . Chresanto and I could've had something . Something very well STRONG . But he let that go . Even if we weren't still together and that didn't happen. I'm glad I saw it before someone else did. If he gave it up to one girl. Who knows how many he' ll give it up too. I have NO time to get my heart played with .
Especially by a fool.
