Now that Misses Wattlesbrook is back around it seems the character of everyone returns to what it should be as more proper. People are not as relaxed and everyone is doing as they should. So as Jess suspects, Mr. Bradford meets her in the morning to escort her to breakfast. Today she wears a silky pale blue gown that compliments her figure and skin tone. When she enters the room it is quiet. Jess catches the gaze of Colonel Andrews and smiles politely when she sees him.

Ella is too absorbed in her gentleman to notice Jess or Bradford enter. She sees that Amelia is sitting on the other side of Captain East and tries to engage him in conversation with a desperate smile on her face. When Ella notices this she looks irritated. But when Wattlesbrook reenters the room Heartwright shuts up and tries to look bored again.

When Jess takes a seat beside Lizzy she notices Mr. Wattlesbrook eyeing her with interest. She ignores him. "Good morning Jess!" Lizzy greets her happily.

"Good morning Lizzy!" Jess returns.

She grins. "I love your gown today!"

Jess smiles. "Thank you so much! Yours is lovely as well."

"You really think so?" she tries her fake accent.

"Absolutely. That color looks amazing on you."

She giggles.

Nobley is late to breakfast and looks just as miserable as usual. He seems to try not to even look at Jess.

Jess listens to the boring conversations of others as she gets her food.

Mr. Bradford accidentally drops his fork and he stiffens with embarrassment.

Jess just giggles at him.

Mr. Nobley glances up at her with irritation. Does it bother him when she flirts with Bradford? If so...

"Oh I think you might be even clumsier than me, Mr. Bradford," she says as she places her hand on his upper arm and turns to look at the servant retrieving the utensil with amusement.

Ella is looking over at them both.

"That would be large shoes to fill," Mr. Nobley mutters.

"On the contrary I think I win that competition," Bradford retaliates as a knife to him in return. "For she is much too graceful to enter that race."

Jess smiles with a flattered feeling.

Nobley looks at his plate with doubt at his words.
