Chapter Twelve

Lois was waiting in stewies room for Peter to show up, even though stewie wanted nothing to do with Peter coming there. Lois could see how hurt he was, she didn't blame him. Chris, Meg, and Brian all left to give Lois and Peter some time to talk and to settle things. Peter walked in and smiled at stewie, stewie gave him a evil glare and looked away. "Mom, the fat man is here." Lois just looked at him sadly, "Peter glad you came, stewie woke up about five months ago." Stewie was already going into physical therapy. "Lois... I can't believe how good you look!" "Save it Peter, I don't even know why I called you." "Look uh Lois, can we talk privately?" "Fine." "Look, Lois I didn't mean to disappear for awhile. But every thing has been taken care of since I've been gone, I still go to work and pay the bills." "That's no excuse for disappearing for months. I don't even know what to think." "I just needed some time honey." "Don't call me honey, don't even touch me" Lois was crying at this point. Peter looked at her sorrowful. "Look, we've been unhappy before all of this went down." "Yeah I guess you're right, but I needed you here over anyone else and you failed me." Brian came around the corner and noticed them talking, he talked to Joe and Quagmire and said that haven't seen him and or talked but Quagmire was able to make plans with him, Brian rushed back to tell Lois when he saw them. Brian froze in his tracks, it hit him when he realized if Peter came back then Lois would never be with him. He walked away sadly.
"I know Lois, and I'll never be able to make it up to you." "No, there is one thing." "What is it?" "Where have you been and I want the truth." "I've been at a hotel." "Who have you been with?" Peter froze when she asked the question, he knew he couldn't say the truth until Saturday. "Uh you know just random bar women." "Women? You mean more than one..?" "Uh yeah..." "Peter how could you?" Peter knew just saying a lie he hurt her, Peter looked at her. "You know what Peter, you can drive by the house and pack up your stuff, I want a divorce." Peter didn't know what to say, he planned on leaving Susie after he left the hospital and dumped her after she turned eighteen. "Lois... You can't..." Yes Peter I'm serious, I want you out of our lives and by the time this is over Stewie will be eighteen so you can't fight for custody."  "Fine Lois if that's what you want." "Yes it is, why don't you go do it now? The kids don't want you here and neither do I." Peter left the hospital and for the first time in a long time, he cried. He couldn't believe what was happening to his life, he just went back to Susie where he decided to move in with her. "Peter we can't live in a hotel for ever, and it's good she wanted the divorce." "I know but it's not like we can go out and public or anything!" "Shut up you ass!" Peter went over and slapped Susie, grabbed her by the hair and threw her into the bedroom and locked the door behind them.
