Chapter Twentytwo

Lois couldn't believe what she saw, she was highly confused with everything. At that moment, Chris and Stewie came home. Lois looked happy to see them,
"How was your evening?"
"It was great we went to see a movie and got food where two girls hit on us and offered to buy us another burger." Lois giggled,
"Seems like you too had fun."
"How was your evening at the Swansons?" 
"It was nice, we had a wonderful time."
Brian looked shocked at Lois for not telling them anything,
"Lois! Aren't you going to tell them anything?!"
Lois then looked pissed,
"Yes Brian I was getting to that."
The boys looked confused,
"Kids, so much has happened today and I don't know where to start. You see, we found out your dads mystery woman. We were just sitting here watching tv then we heard Joe screaming, we went outside to see that Joe was yelling at Susie and your father. Bonnie then called her a whore and slapped her, it was just a terribly sight to see. They were fine at dinner and right after they drove away, and I came home to Meg and Mr. Quagmire on the couch, having.... Sex." Chris and Stewie saw how much it was to take in, they just went up stairs and didn't say a word. Lois didn't know what to say when she heard her phone start ringing, it was Susie.
"What do you want you little homewrecker?"
Lois then gasped as she heard the worst news of her life, she then just fell to the ground,
"Yes I'll be there. Okay see you soon. Bye."
Brian looked really concerned,
"Lois? What? What is it?"
She looked up at him with dad eyes,
"Peters dead."
Those words stung Brian's chest,
"What?! Are you sure?"
Lois modded,
"Susie, called to say that Joe came by to "talk" but ended up shooting Peter in the head. Susie doesn't know where he is. I told her I go down there when the police got there and the help with the funeral."
Brian looked stunned,
"How do we tell the kids?"
"I honesty don't know."
Brian called them down, where they all looked worried as they saw Lois' face,
"What's going on?" Meg asked, Brian didn't know how to say it so he did.
"Joe went over to Susie's apartment and shot your dad, he's dead."
The kids starting crying, they didn't know what to do.

A few weeks later...
Lois was sitting in the kitchen waiting on everyone to come down,
"Come on guys you don't want to be late."
They all came downstairs quickly and quietly,
"I'm so sad though mom."
"I know Chris, but we have to get through this after everything, we have to be there for Bonnie."
After two days they found Joe in the woods crying and saying over and over "I killed my best friend." He was in sentenced to death. Bonnie was blindsided.
When they got to the cemetery, they saw Susie leaning over the coffin and crying, Lois sat back with Brian. While the kids joined and hugged Susie.
Lois looked off in the distance, where she was holding back tears, where she could see Peter coming to her.
"Pe...Peter?"
"Yeah baby I'm here"
Lois didn't know what to say, he smiled at her.
"Did it hurt?"
"No, I'm more at peace then I ever was."
Lois smiled as she said,
"I will always love you."
"I love you too."
Brian then snapped Lois back to reality,
"Lois you okay?"
"Huh? Yeah."
They sat in silence the rest of the service, where it was truly beautiful. Lois couldn't help but shed a tear as the coffin was going down. It would be the last time she see him.
