Chapter 1:
Remember when I said that our story wasn't over? Yeah, I wasn't joking. Things are FAR from over.

Oh, wait, I forgot. I'm Mal, Maleficent's daughter. And this is what happened a little bit after Ben's coronation.

"Ben, what are you doing?" I asked as I sat on the bleachers.

"I'm coming to see my girlfriend. Is that so bad?" he joked sitting beside me.

"You're supposed to be practicing. You have a game tomorrow."

"Yeah, but my girlfriend is more important than a game."

"Awww, Benny-Boo, that's so sweet." I mocked.

He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand. "Don't start with that, Princess."

"Umm, excuse you. I am a Queen." I joked and flipped my purple hair.

"Since when?"

"Since my boyfriend became king."

"And who is this kingly boyfriend of yours?"

"Oh, his name is Benjamin. Maybe you've heard of him? He's the mighty king of Auradon."

"Yeah, I've heard of him. But I bet he wouldn't mind if I did this," he said and kissed me.

I pushed him off teasingly and said, "I don't think he would like that at all."

"I'm sure he would."

"How do you know that?"

"Because I love it." he replied and kissed me again.

This time I kissed him back.

"Ben, stop kissing your girlfriend and come on!" I heard my friend, Jay, say.

I smiled into the kiss before pushing him off again. He tried to kiss me again but I glared playfully at him.

"Go, Ben. I have to go talk to Evie anyway." I commanded.

"Fine." he groaned and pecked me on the lips. "I love you."

I smiled at him. "I love you too."

He smiled back and ran down to the team.

I stood up and brushed the imaginary dirt off my outfit. I carefully got off the bleachers and headed towards the dorms.

When I stepped into my room, Evie was sewing a dress probably for her date with Doug.

I laid on my bed and grabbed a book. It didn't look particularly interesting, but it's what I had.

"Are you reading again?" I heard someone ask.

I sat up and saw Evie looking at me.

"Yes, I'm reading again. It kinda all I can do."

"Why don't you go hang out with Ben? I mean he is your boyfriend and all."

"He's at practice."

"When is he going to propose?"

"Evie, I've only known him for 4 months."

"I know, but he's the king. He needs a Queen soon."

"And how would you know that?"

"My mom was a Queen."

"Okay, so what did she tell you?"

"In Aura if a king doesn't marry someone of his choice in 6 months from his coronation, the kingdom picks his bride."

"WHAT?"

"That means, if he doesn't marry you in two months, the kingdom will choose."

"And the kingdom won't accept a villain."

"Mal, you're not a villain, you know that."

"The kingdom doesn't believe that. I have evil in my blood. My mother was Maleficent."

"As Ben has told you millions of times, just because your mother was evil, doesn't mean you have to be."

I sighed.

Was I ready to get married though?
