If Only {12}

Chapter 12:
We sat the machine on the beach that was right by the magic bridge. I looked around to see if Ben or any of my friends were there. I didn't see anyone, but I switched on the box.

Electricity shot out of the top and hit the dome. The dome opened slightly and stayed there when I shut off the box.

"So when is your squad coming?" Atos asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

I heard the sound of something in the water. (A/N 😂)

I turned and saw a beautiful girl with brown hair rise from the water. She pulled herself into the beach to reveal a salmon colored tail.

"Who are you?"

She smiled. "I'm Melody, daughter of Ariel. I came here to tell you that your friends are on their way. They should be here shortly."

"You're from Auradon?"

She nodded. "King Ben sent me here to tell you. He wants you back desperately."

I smiled shyly. "Thank you for coming."

"Anything for my future queen."

I felt someone tap my shoulder, and I turned.

"BEN!" I exclaimed and wrapped my arms around him.

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm never letting you go again." he whispered in my ear.

"You know we're here too, right?" I heard Jay say.

I rolled my eyes and reluctantly unwrapped my arms from Ben's neck.

I hugged everyone before walking back over to Ben.

"How did you guys get here?" I asked.

Ben wrapped his arm around my waist. "Your brother helped us."

I almost choked on air. "Dracul helped you?"

"Sure did, sis."

I turned and saw the brown-haired boy standing by Melody who had changed back into a human. He had one arm around her shoulders and the other down by his side.

I walked over and stood in front of him. He looked shocked when I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him. After a moment, he returned the hug.

"Well, isn't this an adorable display? So heartwarming."

Dracul and I disconnected the hug and looked to see our mother standing there in all her glory.

"What do you want mother?" I asked.

"You two." She smirked.

"Never again." Dracul and I said at the same time.

"You have no choice."

Then there was black.

Don't worry, the next update will be VERY soon. I have the idea in my head now.
