SUHAANA SINGHANIA POV:-

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and... nothing else.

Which was suspicious.

No alarms blaring. No Raj muttering about early meetings. No chaos. Just blissful silence and the warmth of the blanket.

I turned to the side sleepily.

There he was.

Raj Raghuvanshi. My husband. India's most feared businessman. Currently drooling on my pillow like a 6-year-old in his freaking gym clothes?!

Don't tell me he woke up and got ready for gym but ended up falling asleep again? Where did my obsessive health freak and gym rat of a husband go?

I was about to go back to sleep when my eyes drifted to the clock and my SOUL LEFT MY BODY.

8:00 AM?!!

My meeting starts at 8:30

His at 9.

We both are late in usion.

I kicked off the sheets and ran down in bolting speed stumbling into 7 different objects on my way, the house was oddly silent because everyone had left for their respective work.

Maa looked at me and shook her head with a smile passing me a cup of coffee
"Beta tum iss halat mai kitchen jaogi toh khud ke sath aadha ghar bhi jala dogi"

I took my coffee and gulped it down letting it hit all the right spots. Oh god how i would sell my own damn husband for this coffee.

"Maa aapki coffee ke badle aap apna beta rakh lo, bas ye coffee dena band mat karna" i said sipping my coffee

Maa chuckled and said "Na baba na ab vo teri musibat hai smbhal"

I laughed and realised I am getting late, i thanked her and rushed upstairs.

SUHAANA'S OUTIFT:-

I got ready in a sleek champagne-grey co-ord set that felt equal parts powerful and elegant. The sleeveless blazer cinched perfectly at the waist, giving me that tailored edge, while the wide-legged trousers flowed with every step.

I did minimal makeup and paired it with black heels.

I looked behind me and saw raj still sleeping , oh god this is gonna be hard.

I leaned down and whispered sweetly, "Raj, wake up."

Nothing.

I poked his cheek. "Raj. Baby. You're gonna be late."
