RAJ RAGHUVANSHI:-

I moved in sleep trying to ignore the loud noises coming from outside,
I reached out to hug suhaana.

I blindly reached out to hug Suhaana.

"Agar koi mar bhi raha hai na... kal dekh lenge. Abhi mujhe meri biwi chahiye."

Waise bhi mrne wale ko kon bacha skta hai..

But instead my hand landed on
A cold. Lonely. Pillow.

My eyes flew open.

"Suhaana?" I called, voice rough from sleep.

No answer.

Accha khasa workout karta tha subah subah, pehele toh madam ne adat dalwai apni aur ab khud chali jaati hain??

I swear i will- kya hi kar lunga inhe.

A loud bang rang through the house, followed by aggressive footsteps, suspicious giggles, and someone whisper-shouting, "Positions!! He can attack any time!!"

Before I could even adjust to the light or figure out where the hell I was (my own bedroom, apparently), I heard:

POP. POP. THWACK!!

One foam bullet hit my forehead. One smacked my chest. And the third went rogue and hit the lamp, knocking it over.

What the actual hell?? Bhgwan konse janam ka badla le rahe hai mujhse.

I got out of the bed and went out of the room only to see the living room turned into a whole damn battlefield.

Cushions stacked as barricades. Blankets draped like trenches.
Reyansh, in full commando mode, rolled across the floor like it was a mission.

Rehan stood atop the dining table screaming, "Headshot! I call headshot!"
Kriti was crouched behind the sofa, loading bullets like a sniper.

And there,leading the madness was Suhaana.

Wearing my hoodie. Laughing breathlessly. Holding a bright blue nerf gun like a damn general.

How the hell are they so damn energetic in the morning?!!

I leaned against the door watching the way suhaana's eyes crinkle when she smiles, how her lips form a pout while she tries to figure out how to load the gun, the way her hair fall over her shoulders in soft waves.

One look at her and i have forgotten all my past irritation, anger and sleep the only thought in my mind was her..

My trial of thoughts were interrupted by her yelling "RAJ SPOTTED!! ATTACK!!" a grin that screamed betrayal.

And then it began.

I didn't even get a second to breathe.

Bullets flew at me from every direction.
Kriti hit my knee, Reyansh got my shoulder, and Rehan?! that traitor got my ass.

Suhaana just stood there, laughing so hard she almost dropped her gun, before calmly shooting me right in the forehead. Again.

"I gave you everything, Suhaana. Every piece of me. I trusted you when I shouldn't have, defended you when the world pointed fingers..God,

I even lied to myself just to believe you wouldn't do this. The person who made me is the same person who is breaking me..." I said collapsing on the floor dramatically.

She pressed one leg on my chest and pointed the nerf gun at me again saying
"I told you, from the beginning... I'm not someone you save, Raj. I'm someone you survive."
