Kelli's POV

I held Mariska in my arms as she cried on my shoulder. She was beginning to calm down after I had talked to her, but she started sobbing again. I rubbed her back, whispering nurturing words to her. "Mariska, listen to me; she's not going to hurt you. I'm not leaving your side."

"I know I know... it's just very unsettling."

I kissed her cheek once she began to pull away. She rubbed her now red eyes and looked down at her lap. I brought my finger under her chin and tilted her head upward so she was looking at me. "It's going to be fine... it's only for a few days, and then it will be over."

She let another tear slide down her cheek before wiping it and smiling weakly. I smiled back and stood up. Mariska stood up shortly after and hugged me tightly; something she hadn't done before. She put her head on my shoulder and hugged me so tightly that her arms almost fame to the front of my body. She came close to my ear and whispered, "I know I can't ever repay you or tell you how grateful I am for you in words, but thank you. I know I am a spoiled, rich, broken, dependent, and all of the above, but you've stayed by my side for it all. Girlfriend or not, you've stayed loyal to me and I will always be thankful for that... even if I'm having one of my bad days."

I pulled away slightly and kissed her, and I kissed her with all the love I felt for her. I kissed her, and she kissed me back, that was all I could say. To be honest... there's no way that you can describe a kiss with Mariska Hargitay other than heaven. Her lips were soft, and her kisses were like nothing else. We both pulled away after our lack of oxygen and looked at each other.

"Mistress, there's someone arriving in front of the castle," Rose said from the door.

"Thank you, Rose; I'll be there in a minute."

I let go of Mariska and we walked to the front entrance. I was three steps behind her, my back as straight as an arrow. Once we reached the door, I stepped in front of her and pulled the handle.

"Hello, Kelli. I hope you don't mind that I came a day or two early..."
